The United States Central Command announces that US Air Force F-22 fighter jets arrived to CENTCOM’s area of responsibility today, “as part of US force posture changes in the region and to address threats posed by Iran and Iranian-backed groups.”
The US has been deploying fighter jets and other assets to the Middle East as tensions are high amid an anticipated Iranian and Hezbollah attack on Israel

Also, a dozen F-15s and two E-2 surveillance planes were recently transferred from carrier to an undisclosed land base in the Middle East.

I'd like to see how they accomplished the F-15’s getting on and then being transferred off of said carrier....

Al Dhafra would be my guess.

I presume you meant F-18’s, not F-15’s?

If OPSEC mattered then perhaps the Times of Israel shouldn’t be publishing things like the MAJCOM of the base, or that US aircraft are in the area.
To: Magnum44
E-2s, I don’t think the statement meant the F-15s were from the carrier.

Washington DC wants their Iran war badly before Trump is sworn in. They are still bitter that he cheated them out of it before

I thought the F22 was the one plane we didn’t give/sell to anyone at all because it had capabilities even the 35 doesn’t have. Including Israel.
I see I was mistaken.
To: Thorium90
I believe the F-22’s are flown by Americans and under U.S. command. In bases in the Middle East.
