On the battlefields of Ukraine, the future of war is quickly becoming its present. Thousands of drones fill the skies. These drones and their operators are using artificial intelligence systems to avoid obstacles and identify potential targets. AI models are also helping Ukraine predict where to strike. Thanks to these systems, Ukrainian soldiers are taking out tanks and downing planes with devastating effectiveness. Russian units find themselves under constant observation, and their communications lines are prone to enemy disruption—as are Ukraine’s. Both states are racing to develop even more advanced technologies that can counter relentless attacks and overcome their adversary’s defenses.

This is about 8 years behind the power curve and now the guy that when in charge was sitting on his hands, worried about DEI and J6 insurrectionists has an epiphany.
I suppose even a broken clock can be right from time to time.
I wonder how and how much this epiphany is making these two men?
In either case, we are far-far behind the curve on this issue and if we don't act soon, it is going to be us riding horses armed with lances against tanks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charge_at_Krojanty (they fought valiantly and died accomplishing little)
Our equipment, organization, training, ALL of it, needs to be adapted to deal with newer technologies which have completely changed the battlefield.
This cannot be ignored any longer. It is at this point outright negligence on part of the military's leadership not addressing this issue. I know most of these knee crawling sucks are waiting for a politician to actually give them the green light to propose any new ideas, or they have to retire and get a job for a defense contractor where they have a personal financial incentive in thinking, but this cannot wait any longer!
But we’re always ready to fight the last war!
If Kamala Harris wins the White House, there will be no country left to fight for anyway. If we modernize, we will only become the most powerful Communist nation in history.
Generals and admirals advocate for these expensive projects. Then when they retire, they get lucrative jobs lobbying for the defense industry.
Drones are probably much cheaper to manufacture. Less of a profit margin.
tanks and ships are nothing but easy targets in the future wars.
“worried about DEI and J6 insurrectionists”
Oh, but Milley is ready to lead a force of obese trannies to war. Yeah, sure thing. Like... diversity is our strength or something.
Example: Today an M9 Beretta, a well designed firearm, is post obsolete. Already in 2003, roughly 1/4 of the Iraqi's had kevlar style body armor which the 9mm would not penetrate. The M1 is essentially a coffin on tracks against a modern military force that has many of these newer systems.
Ukraine is a stupid war, an unnecessary war, but hopefully it opens the eyes of some of the top brass and policy makers. At least there is some benefit in all this insanity if that happens.
If Kamala wins we will no longer be a nation. The Globalists want to end nations.
One of the reasons the left hates Trump is that he is a Nationalist and more of a Populist.
This article focuses on AI, drones, etc.... which is all true
But not a word about the state of American society, politics and trust in government.
That is taboo for a Deep State rag like “Foreign Affairs”
Just think of what the couple hundred billions of dollars that wasted on fighting a futile proxy war in Ukraine could have done to upgrade our military readiness.
It's frightening that there isn't anyone here reading this that doesn't realize globalists, not a foreign country, is the greatest threat to this country. And, the globalists including the entire Democrat party and the Republican establishment.
Yes,
But nations are STILL the best way to organize societies with common interests and value systems.
The elite, the globalists that gather in places like Davos or Bilderberg want to create a new layer of authority, a supra-national level that is above the nation.
You get to keep you flag and anthem, but your leaders and laws need to be subordinate to the higher level globalist authority and organizations like the UN are wringing their hands for this opportunity, see the WHO and their initiatives and exploitation of Covid to this end.
Basically the true and real power will sit not in a nations capital, but far away in some international body, conference, some technocratic organization whose leaders are not elected, not accountable, and working hand in glove with international/Western oligarchs who have been pushing this globalist BS for years.
When our nuclear umbrella deteriorates sufficiently we will be wiped out in short order with the current DEI military and government. And I am not so sure an enemy power couldn’t intimidate our political and military leadership into surrendering without firing a shot at this point.
With $972 billion dollars in 2024 for military spending yet our national defense capability is weak.
We will soon be the target of this technology from our own government. Pretty hard to beat an army of joystick video gamers who risk nothing personal or physical to themselves.
IDK. We have a lot of basement dwellers (and others) who can fly drones and planes by remote on their Playstations and PC’s. With a little training, they could be pretty good armchair pilots...
If anyone remembers the cold wars that hasn’t changed.
“Future wars will no longer be about who can mass the most people or field the best jets, ships, and tanks. Instead, they will be dominated by increasingly autonomous weapons systems and powerful algorithms.”
This is not new. The threat of global war has been in existence since its roots in the 1040’s. This theory about slugging it out in the trenches is more pre 1900’s that leaked over into WW I when they first used air warfare. Airplanes were put to use for war starting in 1911, initially for reconnaissance, and then for aerial combat to shoot down the recon planes. The use of planes for strategic bombing emerged during World War II. Now we have other means of delivery far superior to the B52’s. And the push of one button starts the dominoes falling. We knew this during the 1950’s and the only difference is that the threat has grown with the invention of better delivery packages and sizes.
You often hear about something being ahead of its time? This article is behind.

Without an industrial base and millions of young, competent engineers and mechanics and machinists, no, we are not even ready to fight any of the previous wars either.
Oh, and we don't have the warriors either. The fags the military is recruiting can't fight, and the remaining men that can, aren't joining because they won't fight for the faggot globalist WEF.
