Didn’t California’s governor (or some other bigwig) threaten to secede from the Union if Trump wins the electoral vote, but not the popular (illegal alien) vote? California by itself gave Hillary four million illegal alien votes in 2016, so it’s highly unlikely Trump (or any Republican) could win such an already rigged “popular vote.”
Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington will almost certainly leave the Union if California does. Question is, how would Trump respond? Like Abraham Lincoln in 1861? Letting a West Coast communist bloc inevitably invite in Red Chinese military bases and troops sounds kind of dangerous to the (remaining) United States!
However, we live in the nuclear age. The remaining States would never again elect a Democrat Congress or president without the Left Coast states. They would spend more money on nuclear submarines, stealth bombers, etc. and nothing on “free” abortions, college, illegal alien health care, “transitioning” surgeries, etc. Chinese troops wouldn’t dare cross the California border for the same reason the Russians don’t invade any NATO country: no sane leader wants nuclear war.
