Election Red Flag: Postal Service watchdog warns some mailed ballots may be delayed, not counted
Just the News ^ | August 3, 2024 | John Solomon

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) failed to deliver political and election mail on time between 2% and 3% of the time during the 2024 primaries and the mail service’s chief watchdog warns in a new audit that some mailed ballots might be delayed or not counted in the November election because workers aren’t following required procedures.

“We found that Postal Service personnel did not always comply with policy and procedures regarding all clear certifications, Election and Political Mail logs, and audit checklists,” the Postal Service Inspector General warned in a report made public this week. “In addition, we identified processes and policies that could pose a risk of delays in the processing and delivery of Election and Political Mail.

“Further, we identified issues related to some Delivering for America operational changes that pose a risk of individual ballots not being counted,” the report reviewed by Just the News added.

You can read the full report here.

The chief internal watchdog made ten recommendations for the Postal Service to improve performance and make sure it doesn’t fail to deliver for the fall presidential election but warned that USPS managers disagreed with two of the solutions.

“Opportunities exist for the Postal Service to improve readiness for timely processing and delivery of Election and Political Mail for the 2024 general election,” the report concluded.

“Just thought you people should be aware — 4 months from now , we ... ahhhhhhhhhh ... we might ...... ummmmmmm ... be delivering some mail — not all of it. Just some of it ... we might be delivering it a little late. Because *CHORTLE* that happens sometime. So — 4 months from now — don’t say we didn’t warn you.”

It’s deja vu all over again. What’s the percentage of black postal workers in the USPS that would be Kamala supporters?

From the article:

“That means the two to three percent of ballots gone missing in the mail could add up to tens of thousands or more votes uncounted nationwide in the November election.”

The Postal Carriers Union endorsed Joe Biden in 2020.

"mail service’s chief watchdog warns in a new audit that some mailed ballots might be delayed or not counted"

Or not delivered at all? Perhaps it's better to mail them from a blue zone.

Look for the USPS to be as partisan as America’s “press”.

It’s beginning to look like Benjamin Franklin wasn’t the hero I thought he was.

Is Nancy Pelousy having meetings with the post master general again like she did in the last election? I think so….post offices involved in election skulduggery AGAIN.

If it is being delivered by my neighborhood mailman, definitely a problem. My mail is not delivered daily. I get the emails listing mail being delivered that day, but then get nothing. Days later, now twice recently, I instead got a dump of 17 and 16 pieces of mail. This type of thing has been going on for months and getting worse each week.

Vote in person on Election Day - and make sure there are plenty of pro-Trump poll workers - and watch the Democrat poll workers like a hawk.

If you are voting for Trump and you live in a city precinct, consider moving out to farm country where they don’t cheat - otherwise your ballot will end up in a landfill or get offset by a thousand fake Democrat ballots.

Not meaning to be biased myself but I have noticed a large portion of the postal employees are black and Latino.
My current mailman for about four years now is a great one, overburdened by my books and magazines delivered, and well deserving of my annual gift card to his favorite sandwich place (Jimmy John’s). Happens to be black as are his two subs.
But statistically, up to 94% of black people vote Dem locally and nationally.
(2020 Presidential results)
African-American 87% Biden 12% Trump
Hispanic 65% Biden 32% Trump.

LA Times, May 7, 2020:
How the Post Office Became a Potent Weapon For Democrats

“The financially imperiled post office, under attack by President Trump, has become a potent symbol for a Democratic Party....”

2024 on all federal workers....
33% say they vote Republican and 16% independent.
Half said they believed the Democratic party best represented the interests of the federal workforce, whereas 22% said the GOP was a better representative. May 10, 2024

It’s pretty simple if it’s a close election we are doomed.

Overseas military ballots will be highly targeted by the postal service for delay, and for rejection by RAT lawyers. They do it every election.

Hey, please hush up about my favorite Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin, first Postmaster General.
....in 1775, after his fellow colonists rebelled against Britain’s Royal Mail and established the Post Office Department.”
He started things going but is not responsible for today.

In those days people would pay for the postage if they decided to accept delivery of a letter or package. A lot of mail was returned to sender. Many roads and highways started out as “post roads” for mail delivery and people used to wait in long lines at certain places to accept their mail. No home delivery yet.
Pre-payment by the sender started later.

Better yet, vote EARLY so when the election computers go down in election day, they will only cover the early votes. We have to play by the Dem rules... ballot harvesting and the like.

Hey, I largely agree! I’ve always thought highly of Ben Franklin.

However, I have learned in my lifetime that I am NOT a fan of America’s:
1) Post Office
2) Press
3) Copyright Law
4) Patent Law

Creation or protection of these things are all largely Ben Franklin’s contributions to America.

I can see how these were all vastly different in Franklin’s time, versus today. They have suffered abuses that could be corrected by largely a reduction in their influence.

I still like the kite-thing, though.
