Passing the Buck: Kamala Harris Blames Trump for Bad Jobs Report
Breitbart ^ | 08/02/2024 | Sean Moran

Posted on 08/02/2024 2:02:35 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign on Friday blamed former President Donald Trump for the recent spike in the unemployment rate — under her and President Joe Biden’s administration.

“Donald Trump failed Americans as president, costing our economy millions of jobs, and bringing us to the brink of recession,” James Singer, a Harris for President spokesperson, said in a statement, continuing:

Now, he’s promising even more damage with a Project 2025 agenda that will decimate the middle class and increase taxes on working families, while ripping away health care, raising prescription drug costs, and cutting Social Security and Medicare — all while making his billionaire donors richer.

The unemployment rate jumped to 4.3 percent and employers added 114,000 workers to their payrolls in July, a significant miss from economists’ 180,000 expected jobs estimate

This is why it should be a Bush 1988 landslide for Trump. She is that stupid.

Trump’s fault?! He hasn’t been president for 3-1/2 years! This is on Harris and Biden. And her lack of accepting accountability is disqualifying as if we needed more reasons to disqualify her.

She doesn’t realize that it is 2024 and that Project 2025 (which Trump never endorsed) is defunct.

But, but, but, I thought she and Joe had saved the economy and created a bajillion jobs! How could they have done that and then have a terrible jobs report 3 1/2 years into their administration? /s

I heard that at first Harris wanted to blame Herbert Hoover. But her staff talked her out of it, mainly because she kept saying “Hebert Hoover”.

"...increase taxes on working families..."

Suddenly, it's a bad thing.

From another thread, posted not too long ago but BEFORE this came out:

“Even if the economy does become the #1 issue in the campaign, don’t forget that the media will decide (if they must address this at all) that the economic disaster is actually Trump’s fault and Biden/Harris made a heroic effort to keep the recession from hitting sooner. What patriots!”

Well.... that prediction sure didn’t take long to come true. Who didn’t see this coming?

What happened to Bidenomics? Let’s see if the main stream media reports the jump in unemployment to 4.3%. Who do they blame, Biden/Harris or Trump?

Every word a lie.

WHEN HE WAS PRESIDENT—a little thing called COVID forced many businesses to shut down.Grump is getting blamed for those ‘job losses’ & BIDEN is getting credit for “NEW JOBS”as those people can come back to work......

NOT NEW JOBS-—

JOBS WERE SUSPENDED AT BEST.

BECAUSE those were NOT NEW JOBS.

THEY WERE EMPLOYEES RETURNING TO THEIR JOBS AFTER COVID.

Begging your pardon, you are wrong. Americans are even more stupid. Stupid enough to believe such codswallop or not care enough for it to matter to them.

Nothing wrong with it though. Just a blueprint to shrink the federal government which , as we see everyday, needs to be done.

Trump needs to get back on message. He should be shouting “jobs” at the top of his lungs, instead of letting his campaign center around all sorts of side issues that swing voters don’t care about, such as:
— Harris’s ethnicity;
— Harris flunked the bar exam;
— Harris slept her way into power;
— “cat ladies”; and
— a reporter who was rude to him (what else is new?).
