On Thursday, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (ISA, or Shin Bet, or Shabak) released a statement identifying the "journalist" as a terrorist:In a joint IDF and ISA operation, the IAF struck and eliminated Ismail al-Ghoul, a Hamas Military Wing operative and Nukhba terrorist who participated in the October 7th Massacre.An IDF post on Twitter / X emphasized Al-Ghoul's connections to Al Jazeera and front job as a journalist... The Nukhba wing of Hamas is the elite special forces unit of the terrorist organization.
As part of his role in the military wing, Al-Ghoul instructed other operatives on how to record operations and was actively involved in recording and publicizing attacks against IDF troops. His activities in the field were a vital part of Hamas' military activity.
The IDF and ISA are operating in order to eliminate terrorists who participated in the October 7th Massacre and will continue to do so.

A bipartisan group of lawmakers is pressing the Biden-Harris administration to investigate, prosecute, and sanction any anti-Israel group that took cash from Tehran as part of Iran's U.S. influence operation. Such funding, the lawmakers note, "almost certainly violates the U.S. anti-terrorism statutes."
The 22 lawmakers, led by Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), say they are frustrated by the administration's failure to adequately brief Congress about Iran's ongoing foreign influence campaign in America, which includes financial support for anti-Israel protests across the country. U.S. intelligence officials disclosed the operation's existence last month but have not detailed the full extent of Tehran's activities in America, including which groups Iran is working with...
"Director Haines' statement earlier this month confirming that the Iranian regime, a state sponsor of terrorism (SSOT), provided financial support to pro-Palestinian protests in the United States suggests that these groups may be in violation of U.S. law," wrote the group of House members, which also included Florida Reps. Jared Moskowitz (D.) and Mike Waltz (R.).
"It is illegal for any bank or individual to conduct financial transactions with SSOTs. It’s incredible “journalists” think they have immunity from any repercussions of war, including death. “Don’t shoot me, I’m a journalist”. Doesn’t work that way.
It does for supporters of terrorists. Also works for ‘ambulances’.
He was a combat cameraman for the opposing army in a war, no resemblance to an independent journalist. Not that many of them even exist any more.
