How about another law: ANY money spent on ANY other group must be double for social security recipients!

Illegal aliens get $4,000 a month! Social Security recipients get less than half that.

On Wednesday, Trump took to Truth Social to amplify his message. “SENIORS SHOULD NOT PAY TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY!” he declared, framing the tax elimination as a necessary step to ensure that seniors can keep more of their hard-earned benefits.

His statement has been met with enthusiasm from many, who view this proposal as a direct response to the financial struggles faced by older Americans.”

Good news, and any called payments to senior citizens does not count on Federal and state gross income.

My buddy collected SS and still worked and got scr**** by that tax law. AND they never recalced his base line to include the additional income. He had to fight for it.

This may help answer the questions about the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025—and why it was not going to fly.

The campaign needed flexibility and running room—they did not want to be stuck in policy geek grid-lock.

That’s disingenuous....I can’t believe they’re putting out such a statement. NO SS retirement benefits are taxable IF they are not combined with OTHER INCOME (investment etc.) meeting the IRS threshold of XXXX $$$$...

Yep. He should mention that this lame brained greedy idea came from Senator Biden and has his name on it

Many don’t pay tax on it already.
Depends on income level

Taxing it never made sense. It’s just returning money lent by the employee to the government.

If Welfare isn’t taxed as income, neither should Social Security.
