Donald Trump’s presidential campaign unveiled a new attack ad targeting likely Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris as an ineffective, “dangerously liberal” leader who failed to secure the US-Mexico border.
The ad, which was released on Tuesday, slammed Harris, 59, for shirking her duty to reduce illegal migration from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. “This is America’s border czar, and she has failed us,” the 30-second clip opens, alongside footage of Harris dancing at a 2023 event celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.
The ad borrows the slam used by Republican pundits to describe Harris’ role in overseeing efforts to quell the root causes of migration from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.

The debate over whether Harris was Biden’s “border czar” is significant. The Trump campaign is already working to tie her to the administration’s failed border policy, which polls show was among Biden’s biggest weaknesses.
In March 2021, President Joe Biden tapped Harris for the role of “tackling the issues driving migrants from Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico.” Biden said at the time that she would be “helping to stop” the influx of illegal migrants crossing the US-Mexico border.
Biden: “I’ve asked her, the VP, today — because she’s the “most qualified” person to do it — to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border,” Biden said in 2021.

No real debate, she was given the title as a mark of her importance, not by republicans but by the liberal media. They all were happy to christen her the “border czar.” Only this month did they begin to backpedal furiously, and lie out loud that she was never called that. They gave her the title themselves, repeatedly.

I tune out all ads with that booming “political ad” voice.
I’d much rather hear someone who sounds like Mike Rowe, or from Maine, or a black guy with a normal black guy voice.
I’d also rather call leftists leftists and not liberal.
There is an ad by an innocent black guy Kamala put in prison for life — he got reversed after 6 years in prison due to her prosecutorial misconduct. Raw and much more effective. You could do the same thing with people killed by Kamala’s illegals.
Hispanic guy “they’re taking our jobs.” Mom “she killed my daughter”. Etc.
If DJT keeps the attacks to a minimum (e.g., the border), lets Vance go out on his own to lead the media away from him, limit his online ‘commentary’ and just run ads depicting harris in her own words, we will handily win.
Big ‘if’, considering we don’t know who exactly is advising DJT’s campaign strategy.
The major problem is the enemedia, who’ve already pigeon-holed the attempt on his life and are eroding the capital from which he gained with their coordinated attacks.
If the election - ahem - is not even close, fraud will play a minor role; we/they need to ensure that it is NOT close, and just letting the centrists see her in her own words does immensely more damage than any attack by the campaign.

Grateful that they’re dumping the pro-Brandon ads. They were ridiculous.
Yet somehow Harris will get Tons of votes.
I still think Trump should show some clips from Harris and how she treated Kavanaugh in the nomination process.
