the weirdest thing on TV was a talking horse I think My Mother the Car was weird, although it might have been an unstated influence on the Transformers character "Bumblebee," given that they both spoke to people through the car's radio.

A talking horse? What? Didn’t you have a favorite Martian? I remember a show about a guy whose mother was a 1928 Porter automobile...

What did Michael Moore have to say about that?

Genesis 19:23-28 - New King James Version 23 The Sun had risen upon the Earth when Lot entered Zoar.
24 Then the Lord rained Brimstone and Fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens.
25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.
26 But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord.
28 Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace.

(It always fascinates me. It seems that the Bible has nailed events millennia in advance)Truly amazing, isn’t it? The Bible also predicts the great tribulation, which will be hell on earth. I plan to miss it. 👍😊

More proof we’re living in Romans 1 times.Yes, they tend to worship the creature, rather than the creator.

Clinton would take the middle ground and be seen as the moderate compromiser. They don't bother with "moderation" any more.

Could you tell us who said that. Not to put you on the spot, just interested.
A little like the non Biblical phrase from the poet William Carlos Williams:
It is difficult
to get the news from poems
yet men die miserably every day
for lack
of what is found there.
From Asphodel, That Greeny Flower (1955)
The Bible is still better.
