Mark Meadows, former chief of staff in the Trump White House, asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday to toss out the 2020 election interference case against him.

Meadows argues the Supreme Court's recent Trump presidential immunity ruling applies to his conduct. This conduct, Meadows argues, was pursuant to his official duties, The Washington Post reported.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

SCOTUS, in a just world, would order the Georgia courts to dismiss the charges against Meadows. But, they will probably punt and rule that since Meadows has yet to be convicted in the Georgia courts he has not yet suffered harm (or some other such ridiculous finding).

In addition to the ‘immunity ruling’, how about the premise of the case being made? A potentially, illegally recorded phone conversation and the ‘recording’ being altered.

Toss, in the fact that the judge has punted on nearly every decision regarding her eligibility and standing to be there.

> he has not yet suffered harm ...

Funny you bring that up.

I was having difficulty explaining this concept to one of my children over the weekend, in part because I am a layman, and in part because it seems like sensible idea in theory, you should not be able to react to something until it has happened.

But then the real world shows up and punches idealized theory in the mouth, and it is not easily explained away.

In this case the Left has had far too much success at getting the courts to preempt enforcement of various laws before a harm was caused, so much as to lead a reasonable person to see a large leftward political bias in our judicial system.

Actually, the immunity issue is a separately litigated issue that the court must decide first and that is immediately appealable.

Ga. Deputy SOS, Jordan Fuchs is a big problem for Ga. She has followed Ratburger around through a couple of his assignments and she continues to fly under the radar.

She is a rabid liberal Trump hater. She needs conservative media visibility.

To me, just the fact that he has to defend himself by hiring lawyers is a huge economic harm. Most people would be quickly bankrupted if they had to hire lawyers when the federal government comes after them.
