A series of bombshell text messages from countersnipers who were supposed to protect Donald Trump at the Pennsylvania rally where an assassin's bullet nearly killed the president showed them a step behind the gunman.
Now, it appears a group chat of those meant to protect Trump were aware that gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was in their midst over 90 minutes before Trump was shot at, rather than an hour as the FBI had previously claimed.
When one of the three countersnipers was about to call off at the end of their shift at around 4:26pm, they noticed a man who they later confirmed to be Crooks sitting on a picnic table.
'Guys I am out. Be safe,' he wrote. 'Someone followed our lead and snuck in and parked by our cars just so you know. I'm just letting you know because you see me go out with my rifle and put it in my car so he knows you guys are up there,' he wrote.

90 minutes before shooting they knew Crooks was a poison pill watching them and scoping the range to the Stage.

So the FBi lied about an hour, it was over 90 minutes before the shooting.

That explains the bombs in the failed shooter’s car, “parked by our cars”...

Is there a good profile photograph of this boy? From what I've seen it looks like he is missing the end of his nose. This sort of deformation is a possible indications of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Why is it BS? He crawled up on a roof with over 15 law enforcement officers right beneath him. There’s a new video out showing the officers pouring out of the building after he fired off his rounds.
I would agree that some of his features appeared oddly under developed. First time I saw his photo, I thought:
“Where is his nose?” His face had a curious convex look to it. Was he hydrocephallic at some point? That appearance could have influenced him being described by former classmates as pretty much a loner.

These guys leave a lot to be desired.
“Kid”? How about WM with long brown hair approx 18-23?
I can’t get away from the fact that Crooks did anything he pleased, and no one questioned him and asked him for ID (he wasn’t even carrying ID).
Now, the Deep State is protecting all these agents.
End of shift meaning go home or end of shift meaning rotate shooters and spotters so they can get a drink, go to the bathroom and give their eyes a rest?
In a minimalistic "best-case scenario," an agent would have attached himself to Crooks, made Crooks well aware that there was an agent standing right next to him, made Crooks feel uncomfortable, made Crooks therefore realize that his plan was hopeless.
Wouldn't have even been necessary to directly confront Crooks, demand ID, etc.
Saying this merely as a "thought experiment."
Of course, a more confrontational approach could have also been attempted.
But all they had to do was have an agent "linger" near Crooks, and Crooks would probably have abandoned his plans. That would have required minimal effort - and entailed no need to justify it subsequently (e.g.: "Why were you harassing that poor man?")
