“The last time we were down there, the clerk said, ‘we hate it when you bail out these sex offenders, that is what they said,’” former Minnesota Freedom Fund interim executive director Greg Lewin told Fox9 in August 2020.”

The United States is unique among countries that have more than one political party in that we have only two. What this means is that one of the two parties must knit together people with wildly diverging viewpoints to get to the magic 51% of votes to take power. Imagine the difficulty of getting someone who has an overpowering interest in, say, the right to life and someone who believes in the universal availability of the morning after pill. Or a Vegan and a furrier. There was always a delicate dance by every politician to, if not win over at least not offend someone with a different view. The Republicans during WWII had to attract the anti-war vote while at the same time not damaging American defense or war effort. Until relatively recent times both parties were against crime and in favor of cavillation. I find it difficult to fathom what constituents the Democrats are knitting together by furthering crime and mayhem. Do they think there are that many radicals who will come out and vote for more homelessness, more crime and more killings? What the Democrats are doing makes no sense to me, unless there really are enough votes for evil to make the required 51%.
