Republican 2024 presidential nominee Donald Trump slammed Joe Biden after the president announced Sunday he was dropping out of the 2024 election.
Minutes after the announcement, Trump reportedly told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins in a phone call that Biden is “the worst president in the history of our country.”
“In a phone call with CNN minutes after Biden announced his exit from the 2024 race, former President Trump responded, ‘He is the worst president in the history of our country. He goes down as the single worst president by far in the history of our country.’ While it’s unclear who the Democratic nominee will be, Trump said he thinks VP Harris will be easier to defeat than Biden would have been,” Collins wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was! He only attained the position of President by lies, Fake News, and not leaving his Basement,” Trump wrote.
“All those around him, including his Doctor and the Media, knew that he wasn’t capable of being President, and he wasn’t – And now, look what he’s done to our Country, with millions of people coming across our Border, totally unchecked and unvetted, many from prisons, mental institutions, and record numbers of terrorists,” the GOP nominee continued. “We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The Trump campaign immediately began fundraising on the news of Biden dropping out of the race.

I LOVE President Trump’s non-nonsense, honest communications. We are desperately in need of his leadership.
Way to go Joe! You’re a ONE TERMER and you had to steal that election. That’s gonna look good in the history books, bonehead. You got away with it with the low I.Q. crowd but the historians aren’t going to let you get away with it.
I wonder how future history will define Biden? He is officially gone, lame duck (worse than a lame duck), etc. until Jan 2025.
As always, there will be those around here criticizing Trump and telling him to just shut up, be gracious, etc. And that’s why Trump is on his way to being re-elected President and they’re not. Trump doesn’t believe in prevent defense, and rightly so.

I’m not sure there was a real reason to go after Biden after he dropped out Trump needs to change his focus to what is coming. Biden is now yesterday’s news. In fact, Trump just needs to sit back and watch the chaos to see what emerges.

I remember not long ago, liberals were trumpeting a report from some historians, who said Biden was the 14th greatest president in American history. The same historians said Trump was dead last.
Democrats do a few days ago were very openly critical of Biden today are saying he has had an historic presidency.
Seems hard to believe anything certain politicians say.
We’ve been waiting for a long time for someone like President Trump. We didn’t have to hold our nose for him when voting, like all the other pretend republicans. After what they’ve done to him, and stole his presidency from us, we can never have another squishy rino who reaches across the aisle. I want lifetime revenge.

Well said. It’s amazing what a difference it makes to have a candidate/president who tells it to you straight and doesn’t play games.

Democrats have already begun the Biden Apotheosis today, so history will remember him as “The Savior of Our Democracy,” statesman, life of duty and service, etc., etc., etc. They’ll make sure he’s remembered like FDR.
The truth: Biden had an abysmal 3 years and had give up because of his declining health.
The truth is that he shouldn't have run in 2020 because his dementia was obvious even then... to people who were outside the Democrat protective bubble.
