Maher: Can’t Argue With Claim Biden’s Staying in Because Jill Likes Power

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that he “can’t argue” with claims that President Joe Biden is sticking around despite everyone but him and First Lady Jill Biden knowing that he can’t win the 2024 election because Jill Biden wants to be able to hold on to power.

After comedian Larry Wilmore stated that former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s speech at this week’s Republican National Convention was one where her head was saying the opposite of what her mouth was saying, particularly when she was urging people to vote for 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) stated, “Nikki Haley was way more convincing than Pete Buttigieg was over there.” (Donalds was referencing Maher’s interview with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who appeared in his personal capacity to defend Biden’s re-election campaign.

Maher responded, “Really?”

A flight jacket with the presidential seal is draped over the back of her chair, to leave you in no doubt about the power behind the throne.

“Prepping for the G7,” she wrote on her @FLOTUS “US Government Official” account, under the photo in which a scholarly “Dr. Jill,” wearing reading glasses, pen in hand, is studying a thick ring binder of notes.

Are these classified notes? Does drjill have security clearance to view these?

As the 72-year-old wife of the oldest president in history, the effrontery of this spousal usurper on her first overseas trip was a portent of liberties to come.

Three years later, as her husband, now 81, grows increasingly befuddled, Dr. Jill is stepping up, doing solo campaign visits and TV appearances, weighing in on politics and polls as if it were she who is running for office.

And now we hear that the first lady has been pressuring her husband on Israel’s war on Hamas with these words: “Stop it. Stop it now, Joe.” At a Ramadan event at the White House last week, Joe Biden reportedly told attendees about “Jill’s sophisticated geopolitical advice.”

A letter from Sen. Josh Hawley, citing whistleblowers inside the Service, suggests just that. President Trump was subject to an assassination attempt the Secret Service should have protected him from. Congress has been asking questions all week, and met with mostly stonewalling from the agencies involved.

Now Sen. Josh Hawley is hearing from Secret Service whistleblowers, about yet another problem. According to the Daily Wire: Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) said on Friday that most of the security personnel at former President Donald Trump’s Saturday campaign rally had been “unprepared and inexperienced” DHS personnel rather than actual members of the U.S. Secret Service.

Hawley shared a letter he was sending to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, demanding answers for a series of apparent lapses in security that ultimately allowed a gunman to attain access to an elevated position less than 200 yards from the rally stage where Trump was speaking. Secret Service is part of DHS. “Whistleblowers tell me that MOST of Trump’s security detail working the event last Saturday were not even Secret Service. DHS assigned unprepared and inexperienced personnel,” Hawley said.
