Either you're trained in security procedures to know how to identify a threat, and how to prevent a threat from occurring, or you don't belong in any job that requires you to be highly observant, consistent, and thorough. I was taught that the only stupid question, was the one you didn't ask. I spent 25 years in uniform in NY State prisons. I had to be security conscious every day on the job, and it carried over to my personal life. It's not something you walk out of work each day and forget. If you do, then you're in the wrong job. I'm in my 21st year of retirement, and I'm still extremely security conscious, and I'm a 76, almost 77 year old woman. There was no excuse for what was allowed to occur last Saturday.

Suppose someone at a high enough authority level said to him or her self, if I continue to provide insufficient resources to protecting this person, someone is bound to knock him off.
Is that a sophisticated plot? I don’t think so. But is it just a 20 year old kid doing this? I don’t think that is true, either. If we are dealing with enemies of the Constitution at many levels of government, these things get hard to sort out.
Here’s another question. If the Republicans in the House had put Majorkas in the Capital jail 10 days ago, as a couple of members tried to do, would Cheatle have the same attitude she has today?
He played it before and nothing came of it even though people thought he was sending a message. It has to be assumed that he just likes the song.
I think the elevation question would be close either way - wondering more about the azimuth angle and whether the window shot aligns with the collateral human death and injury, plus the hydraulic lines of the speaker lift.
The people in these jobs are more mediocre than anyone will ever admit publicly.
It's a safe bet that they spend 99% of their careers on monotonous grunt work (where, after a time, complacency is almost expected); highly intelligent and/or truly creative types would quickly become bored with this line of work. And when the balloon finally goes up, those there are overwhelmingly drones.

Joseph Cuffari, Homeland Security Inspector General, appointed by President Trump is conducting the investigation. Like DOJ's Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Inspector General's are nominated and confirmed by Congress, and are historically not removed from their appointed term of service. But Obama got rid of Americorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin who found Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, an Obama supporter and former NBA basketball star had misused government funds. Obama fired him because he went after a friend. Walpin never got his job back. Here's hoping Cuffari takes this investigation seriously, unlike Horowitz's coddling of the assholes in the FBI/DOJ who illegally went after General Flynn, Paul Manafort, President Trump, and others.
They're now saying there was a local sniper inside that room of the two-story building, but that's very new information. Is it accurate? Earlier we were told that the building wasn't occupied.
If this was a setup then a professional sniper would have been inside. Also what were those reports early on of looking for a man of Chinese descent?

Tim Pool is discussing this right now on his show. He knows drones really well. In every drone made since about 2013-2014 you have to download the maps from the internet in order for the drone to fly. A drone will not fly in a restricted area. Every event when a SS protectee appears is a restricted area.
So how did this drone fly there?

Of course they did. I would bet that throughout history the majority of assassinations have been carried out by the victim’s own guards, either directly or by assisting outsiders.
