July 18 (Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Thursday blocked President Joe Biden's administration from continuing to implement a new student debt relief plan designed to lower monthly payments for millions of Americans. The St. Louis-based 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted a request, opens new tab by seven Republican-led states to put on hold parts of the U.S. Department of Education's debt relief plan that had not already been blocked by a lower-court judge.

About time. I was surprised to hear he was writing off another 1-2 billion earlier today. I just hope they can reverse all of the give aways since they were issued after the courts already reversed the move. And congress never authorized them.
All student loan debt should be waived.
If we can give Israel and Ukraine billions of dollars, we can afford to wipe out student loan debt.
