Just so you know.....tha officer who hung there was standing on the shoulders of another officer...there was no ladder.
A real pissing contest between SS & local law .
The much maligned Officer Doughnut undoubtedly saved President Trump’s life.
Knights’ check must’ve cleared.
The Secret Service has the sole responsibility for protecting Mountaineer. The cannot delegate that responsibility to local police. They can ask for logistical support from the local police, but if anything goes South it is on them.
It falls directly to the SS. They were in charge. The SS should be held accountable and take responsibility for their actions (or non-actions). Blaming everyone else is what libtardia does.
Yes the only ones to blame is the SS they are the primary.
He was attempting to retrieve his sidearm when he fell. Then we have the gal attempting to holster her sidearm with no luck. The we have the locked fence that trapped another half dozen LEOs.
We need to knock off the blame, strictly do lessons learned, and LEARN THEM.
People need their jobs and are likely very competent. Mistakes may have been made and they need to prevent those again. Finding scape goats gets everyone hiding and silent. We need to prevent this kind of ‘lucky’ incident from ever happening.
Cue the “Society’s to Blame” Monty Python skit...
I live here....and I have moved 30 times in my life and have never seen such a great police dept in my life.....they cleared out the BLM people in one hour when they tried to have their violent protests here in my city.
The Secret Service people dropped the balls all over the place....and that’s just the truth of it all.
You should have been a member of the Warren Commission.
omg.
Secret Service assigns areas to be covered..and they must confirm that they are.
This is what you get when Director Cheatle can't be found with a search warrant.
We still don’t know all the details but its clear that the SS were supposed to be in charge. Thus I see no reason to blame locals right now.
The Ted Baxter report
.....tha officer who hung there was standing on the shoulders of another officer...there was no ladder.

Perhaps , but it may have been that they didn’t run around looking for any ladder but just tried to get on the roof as quickly as possible
I don’t think anyone is blaming local law enforcement.
ThIs was a SS failure - Trump clearly got assigned the C team.
The question is whether or not that was done out of negligence, contempt or malice.
I suspect it was malice, but regardless - those responsible should hang.
