Better, I would say. He knows first hand what it’s like to be in the military. Plus, he is NOT going to be President immediately ( unlike Obama ). He has time to gain experience in office ( unlike Obama, who was thrust into the position immediately ).

And if you were a Leftist, Obama was a phenomenal success! Went from junior senator to twice-elected president. Guided the Democratic Party far leftward. Massively expanded the Deep State. Filled Washington DC full of unelected partisan kommissars, many of whom still hold their jobs!
