Former president Donald J. Trump’s Secret Service permanent detail were stood down for the Butler, Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, according to an admission by Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.
In place of Trump’s permanent detail, “supplemental special agents” were sent from the Pittsburgh field office to provide all of the security measures for the rally on Saturday.

You are saying that was a top of the line Secret Service unit there. Yep, I’ve seen you post before. You’ll believe anything coming out of DC. I’m sure you’ve seen the Secret Service in action hundreds of times before. Don’t rely on what you’re being told by DC, think for yourself on this one. Have you ever seen a Secret Service unit anywhere remotely as obscenely incompetent as that bunch Saturday? If that was normal, normal means NO protection. Think for yourself, if you can, and ask why? Maybe, just maybe, the article is true and they were lesser trained temps. What your explanation? Waiting for the SS DEI director to tell you the real story?
The question is how did the shooter get on that roof? There should have been someone placed there, or there should have been measures in place to prevent access.
I’d not be surprised if it were the sort of position that’d be manned by local LEO, but there should have been someone there.
