I’ve thought of that. Libs routinely register as repubs to vote in primaries to weed out the more conservative candidates.

In the South, anti-Roosevelt conservatives used to register as Democrat so they could have a voice in the primaries, since the general election was a mere formality, in which the R never won, if one was running at all.
Some do that on our side also. I suspect this punk thought it was a way to be a “spy” and get intel on the “fascists”. Among each other, they compete for who has infiltrated and penetrated the enemy more than the other.
It is very juvenile, but that is their mentality.
