Oh what a relief! The FBI and the SS are investigating why Crooks was allowed to climb on the the unprotected roof unhindered and shoot at Trump and other people. I can hardly wait to learn what they discover. I’m sure they’ll come up with something reassuring.
Generally speaking, I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I think it's worse than just "failed to do their job". I think they deliberately waited until Crooks shot first. I'm open to correction, but I think the gunshots went: pow-pow-pow,,, pow-pow-pow-pow. They MUST have had Crooks in their sites BEFORE he shot because there simply wasn't time between the two volleys for them to move into position from somewhere else, aim, and shoot.
For what it’s worth, the ladder that I saw on the Daily Mail website is way more than 5’ tall, more like 15’ tall.
It’s possible Crooks put it there, but it’s also possible the building’s maintenance people put it there to gain access to the roof but then forgot about it. We should learn about that in the weeks to come.
