But Trump and Vance have both stated that they believe the issue should be addressed at the state level. If you have a problem with Vance on this issue, you also have a problem with Trump.

Honestly, I don’t recall specifically. I was a Cruz supporter, voted for him in the primary. In fact, I was excited about being able to vote for him. But in Iowa, his campaign started unraveling, turning me off. I laugh about this now, but when Trump made that comment that he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue or some such...and would not lose his supporters, I swore to my son that there was no way I could EVER vote for him. Yet in about a month’s time, I came full circle and knew I wanted to go with the winner. Shoot, Cruz lost every county in SC to Trump, even in the upstate conservative counties. I’ve had my cringe moments with Trump, but he has my full support.

I’m not thrilled with this pick. Vance was a Never Trumper when he lived in San Francisco just a few years ago. I’m always a little leary of people who don’t have the courage of their convictions to go against the grain of those in their circles. Seems like he was a bit brainwashed by the tech oligarchy in SF, even though he worked for Peter Thiel. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt based on his actions going forward.

But setting her aside, and some of what I am reading here about his Never Trumper stance, I am trusting TRUMP at this point...

we need to get Trump over the finish line and see what can be done to salvage our broken country before if completely goes under...
