My Mom wanted Tom Cotton..I wanted Vivek honestly from the beginning..I like Vance I have nothing against the dude, but I wish he had not said the things that he said about Trump in the past, Trump knew everything that Vance ever said about him and went with him anyway so I trust Trump..after what happened to him on Saturday, he can pick Pikachu and he will have my vote
My thoughts exactly. I was hoping it would Not be Vance, for several reasons. However, if he were to include in his speeches that he was once a Never-Trumper who changed his mind after watching Trump work, instead of listening to the media lie, maybe he could convince some on the fence to give Trump a chance. (I think Don Jr made this pick.)
I like Vance. It’s troubling how he was a McMuffin supporter in 2016 but I think he explained how he was wrong.

On the first anniversary of the January 6, 2021 riot, Vance tweeted out a link to a website that encourages donations to people who have been accused of involvement in the attack on the Capitol. And Vance wrote: “There are dozens of people who protested on J6 who haven’t even been charged with a crime yet are being mistreated in DC prisons. A friend suggested the below link if you’re able to support them.”
In another tweet moments later, Vance claimed that many of the prisoners are military veterans who have been “accused of nothing.”

Vance said Sunday in an ABC “This Week” interview he would have allowed states to send multiple slates of electors to Washington after the 2020 election and “Congress should have fought over it from there,” adding there “were problems” in the 2020 election.
