In reaction to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, leading left-wing political figures in Europe pointed the finger at gun rights in America, with the former head of the UK Labour Party in the European Parliament saying that Republicans “reap what they sow” for defending the Second Amendment.
The failed assassination attempt on former president and current frontrunner in the 2024 election Donald Trump at a campaign rally, which claimed the life of an audience member and left two others critically wounded, is already being used for political points scoring to forward the anti-gun agenda of the left in Europe.
While European leaders — many of whom have been deeply critical of Donald Trump — were quick to condemn the political violence against the presumptive Republican nominee, some leading political figures, such as Richard Corbett, used the opportunity to advance their agenda.

This is what’s meant by the abyss of the “Darkened Intellect.”
...the elitist media NEVER reports on all the “illegal” gun crime that occurs in Europe and the UK, does it?
Biden kept escalating his rhetoric against Trump, claiming that Trump and his supporters “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” while warning that “equality and democracy are under assault.”
Biden’s X account was full of such language.
Biden even used the threatening phrase “putting Trump in the crosshairs”-——
meaning being aimed at by a gun, such as a rifle that has an aiming device with crosshairs.
Crosshairs are a pair of fine wires or lines crossing at right angles.....
the focus of a gun sight, for use in positioning and aiming at a target.
THIS is one reason The United States was created.
At this point, Trump should make a note of this, and withdrawal all defense spending to the UN. Let them fall into communism and die as the people rise up and exterminate the Bolsheviks attempting their comeback.
Sod off, wankers.
Amen. The Eurofaggots can deal with their raghead and Putin problems themselves.
Fact: in Britain people are prosecuted for defending themselves from criminal assaults. The Brits can STFU.
Yep. They can go F* themselves.
There was a reason the Founders wanted to avoid European entanglements, but they had no idea how prescient that was, as we can see the totalitarians they have become since then, most especially the European Union.
When you read the EU Constitution, you can see how far off the mark they are. I feel bad for individual Europeans who live under that creeping tyranny, but we have to worry about the possibility we may follow in their footsteps.
And the 2nd Amendment is one of the key RIGHTS to prevent that.
Well automobiles cause deaths based on their so-called reasoning. What do they want to do next? Ban automobiles? Oh wait a minute ...
This is one reason WHY I don’t support NATO
These people are not our ideological allies
Joe didn’t know that he’s a shotgun expert, not a rifle expert.
I hope this does not threaten gun rights in the United States.
“These people are not our ideological allies”
They’ve hated us and sneered at us for years, but they’ll take our money and send our kids to die saving Ukraine. Let’s bring it all home and save our own country.
>>the European Parliament saying that Republicans “reap what they sow” for defending the Second Amendment.
Perhaps they have a point; we should disarm all the Democrats since they are emotionally unstable and demonstrably prone to violence.
Tell it to Shinzo Abe, @^@#ers.
Trump had an unconstitutional "knee jerk" reaction to bump stocks in his last administration.
This time around he has a very personal reason to go after AR-15s, and it needs to be made clear this is unacceptable.
Hey European leaders the us has been saving your ugly ass for two world wars and the cold war. So STFU and mind your business.
Yeah, yeah. People die in car wrecks to, but we’re keeping our cars.
