The Secret Service blamed local police for failing to secure the rooftop from which gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, insisting it was outside of the perimeter the federal agency was tasked with protecting.
Instead, securing and patrolling the factory grounds of AGR International Inc. — located about 130 yards from the stage where Trump was speaking Saturday — was the responsibility of local Pennsylvania police, Secret Service representative Anthony Gugliemi said, according the New York Times.
The Secret Service was only tasked with covering the grounds where Trump’s rally took place, with local police being recruited to assist with those efforts and secure the area outside of the rally.

Some have talked about Biden commenting that Trump was going to have a very bad week. I’m wondering if that is just a paraphrase of the sentiment Biden expressed in that clip, or if Biden did make a comment about a bad week.

Sec Service owns any event site it guards. No matter what assets they use, local, country, state, federal the Sec Service is in overall command of securing the site. They left it uncovered. That is wholly their failure.

Well, I just watched the whole 37 minute Detroit speech and it wasn’t there. The pain was almost unbearable. 37 minutes of baldfaced lies and zero truths. What a miserable $#!*@ he is.

I heard that the building that the shooter climbed up on the roof was the “command post” for the local cops. Believe it or not !?! Still wondring about inside help ?

Since the SS is RESPONSIBLE for the safety of Trump, then they should be able to answer the following questions regarding close-in perimeter security:
1. Which police department?
2. Who did they talk to?
3. And what were the SPECIFIC instructions to them?
I doubt that they have ANY answers to that, as they likely told all the local police to do crowd control and nothing else, as the SS would take care of keeping the President safe.
