Thats right. That round can pass through a great deal thicker. That doesnt mean they can shoot into a building and hope that nothing is going to deflect the bullets path. It is not allowed, period. This is not an issue of what the round is capable of doing, it is an issue of what the sniper is allowed to do.

Yes, it does seem so. There are reports of one or two LE jumping up and then for one reason or another jumping down. One I say was, “he waved a rifle at me.” Then climb on something else when he turns around again? Right? I have a lot of questions myself.
Was this an issue of fed being in charge and telling locals that they couldnt engage? You would think that it would be easy enough for one of them to back away from the backside of the building kind of at an angle from that one side so a missed round wouldnt go toward the countersniper or Trump yeat still have full view from the back.

I dont believe it was taller.
The difference in the height of the building that the countersniper was on was not tall enough in relation to the height of the roof of the building the shooter was on to change the angle enough for them to see over the ridge until the shooter got closer to the top.
