The suspected gunman in the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was a registered Republican from Bethel Park who donated money to a politically liberal group before he was old enough to vote.
The FBI identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, as the shooter early Sunday. He was killed by the Secret Service.
Crooks lived in Bethel Park, a South Hills suburb of more than 33,000 people that is about 50 miles south of the Butler Farm Show grounds where the attempted assassination took place.
Kevin Rojek, FBI special agent in charge in Pittsburgh, said during a news conference early Sunday that investigators had not yet determined a motive.
Crooks lived along the borough’s Milford Drive. Part of the street was blocked off by law enforcement Sunday morning. Firefighters, local police and state troopers could be seen milling about the street Sunday morning. Neighbors and members of the news media also could be seen walking around, many trying to get a glimpse of the house where the shooter lived.

It’s amazing that this kid could outsmart the Secret Service and all their local law enforcement backup.

They were social workers it sounds like. The kid had a menial job at a nursing home. Odd for an above average student.
What I want to know is how some random 20-year-old, with apparently zero in the way of military service or training. Managed to “special forces” his way through multiple checkpoints, find a perfect spot with a view of the stage, climb onto the roof of cordoned off building, set up a sniper nest and manage to take a perfect head shot that would have been a guaranteed kill shot had Trump not turned slightly at the last second.
It looks like someone is going to lose his or her job:

From other sources, if we can believe them, this kid has been at about 5 antifa-type peaceful protests ranging from Seattle - Portland- and east coast.
How does he finance all that travel and get around, if he is that young, and menial job?
Whatever the hell the DNCMedia wants to say, it is just stupid to remark he was a “Republican” and leave it at that.

There has been some talk on leftist sites pegging the shooter as an "apolitical" "school shooter" type, but having two members of the immediate family that are Libertarian, plus the Democratic mom, and him being a "registered Republican" leads me to think there was a lot of political discussion going on in this family.

If it were a biden rally he couldn’t in position to get a shot off as the crowds are so small that everybody knows each other. Between SS agents biden staffers, and media anybody showing up just to see biden is suspicious.
