The assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump came about through Joe Biden’s enfeebled administration creating “the atmosphere” that enabled the shooter to undertake his failed mission, Russia claimed in the wake of the attack.
The Kremlin laid the blame squarely at the doorstep of the White House, the Daily Telegraph reports.
“We do not believe that the attempt to eliminate and assassinate Trump was organised by the current authorities,” Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, told reporters, suggesting even in the denial that it was a possibility.

For as late as 6 hours after it happened, 2 of the top five ‘recommended’ (by user score) threads were conspiracy theory threads about the assassination attempt being staged. I would estimate the 30-40% of the comments on the other three top threads were also conspiracy/denial in content.

If they want to believe it was staged they have to go full Alex Jones and claim the shooter never died, the other victim never died, no shots were fired and Trump had some kind of firecracker taped behind his ear.
