Law enforcement officials admitted it was “surprising” how the gunman was able to get so many shots off in the attempted assassination on former President Donald Trump before he was taken out by Secret Service snipers.
During a press conference early Sunday, officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police deferred several questions about security to the Secret Service — who were notably absent.
When asked if he was surprised at the number of shots the gunman was able to take at a former president, Kevin Rojek, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Pittsburgh field office, said: “It is surprising but, to get all the details of that will come out later in the investigation.”
“The Secret Service really needs to answer that question,” he added, noting that they are in charge of securing the scene and the FBI were just there to support them.
Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens attempted to offer a defense for the Secret Service over the security lapse that nearly caused Trump his life.
“In their defense, what I would want to say is it is incredibly difficult to have a venue open to the public and secure that against any possible threat against a determined attacker, that’s a huge lift to try and do it,” Bidens told reporters.

The shooter shares the same last name and an address not far from a crooked former leftist boss who fired me in September 2016 for a BS reason which can be traced back to a personal disagreement. I am guessing a nephew or possibly a grandson. I would call it into the FBI, but it might put me in the crosshairs of this corrupt agency instead.

A question to SS about the shooter who had what looked like a rifle: How dies a guy with a rifle even get to the building, then the roof of the building without anyone seeing him? The shooter had to arrive at the location somehow, at some time and take the rifle and himself up to the roof. Then he crawled across the roof and NO ONE in LE saw him???

I’ve read at least 5 shots, then 8 shots (daily mail uk), or 10 shots.
The least amount appears to be 6 shots: deceased spectator, two adults injured, former WH physician’s nephew injured, one that severed a hydraulic line to a speaker (AP reporting)’causing it to wobble’ and Trump. Add possible rocochet rounds off the spectator stand, and it seems closer to 8 or 10

I posted last night that he should contract with Erik Prince for his entire security detail. SS is in bed with the FBI; this can’t end well.
I was shocked how many women were involved in the detail. Insane. Is Biden “protected” by dainty ladies, or burly men?
