The gunman believed to have been behind the attempted assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump Saturday was shot and killed by Secret Service, sources told The Post.
The shooter, identified as a Chinese man, was in a sniper position located hundreds of yards away from Trump’s podium in Butler, Pa. as he spoke to a campaign crowd, sources said.

Forgive me today after actually having the TV on to see Trump no longer at the podium when I looked up and then knowing it might be another case like the day JFK was shot when my grandmother said to me “Did you hear? They shot our young President.” And the days of hearing MLK and RFK were dead.

I have no idea how well that woman might perform over if shot at a lot, but have no issue with her performance in her first (I assume) rodeo. I heard the "loss of fine motor skills" phrase from a former SOG officer, interviewed about his many missions across the border from South Vietnam to Laos and/or Cambodia. He said the fist time he got shot at, he promptly returned fire with one 20 round M16 magazine, but his hands were shaking so badly that the fight was over before he was able to insert another magazine into his M16.
I know many, many people with the right guns and talent to make that shot. If it was a professional, he would be successful.
But, you can bet the deep state and one or more 3-letter agencies are behind it.

If the assassin was, indeed, Chinese that opens up a whole nother can o’ worms. Chinese Nationals who are first to third generation Americans are mostly compromised because they have relatives in China who will suffer if the Chinese derived persons in America don’t pass all information back to China or do what the Party wants them to do. And there are the battalions of Chinese could-be soldiers who are marching across the border to the beat of the Democrat drum.
That's doable, but doubtful. An easy shot for a 5.56 AR15 with the right optics though.

I did hear a media person say he used an AR style rifle. Yes they are possible in .22 rimfire, but would not be much of a choice at 200 years, as I have read.
From what I have read about the collateral injuries and death, I doubt it is 22 rimfire.
5.56x45 (.223 Remington) is .22 caliber.
I heard and read that the shooter had no ID. Why would he be fingerprinted? I was fingerprinted for my job, but do most people get fingerprinted if they haven’t been arrested or worked in certain fields or done certain volunteer work?

My apologies, but I think the sound of the first shots were definitely smaller caliber. The secon shots, where the gunmen were killed were M4 at least. But the first shots sounded very low caliber.
