Trump just said in a lengthy message on his Truth Social account that he was shot by a bullet that pierced the upper part of his right ear.
“I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” he wrote.
Trump said he wants to thank the Secret Service and all law enforcement for their rapid response, and he said, “most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.”
“It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead,” he wrote.
Every four years, the left and the media insist that the GOP candidate for President is “literally Hitler”. This is all on the Biden, the other Democrat politicians, their supporters, and the media.

I don’t know, but I suspect that the SS runs the show regarding security. So I wouldn’t be surprised if we here how the SS PREVENTED the local police from protecting Trump.

Identity of the shooter is next— this was more than one or two people doing this. If a recent chinee- national came across the border or sheep dipped in the US, there will be Hell to pay, and the payment will be made, from Hell to our mr. mashed potatoes.

The Biden administration has reportedly denied requests from President Trump’s security detail for increased protection for weeks.
On October 14, 1912, former saloonkeeper John Schrank (1876–1943) attempted to assassinate former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt while he was campaigning for the presidency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Schrank’s bullet lodged in Roosevelt’s chest after penetrating Roosevelt’s steel eyeglass case and passing through a 50 page thick (single-folded) copy of his speech titled “Progressive Cause Greater Than Any Individual”, which he was carrying in his jacket pocket. Schrank was immediately disarmed and captured; he might have been lynched had Roosevelt not shouted for Schrank to remain unharmed. Roosevelt assured the crowd he was all right, then ordered police to take charge of Schrank and to make sure no violence was done to him.
As an experienced hunter and anatomist, Roosevelt correctly concluded that since he was not coughing blood, the bullet had not reached his lung; he declined suggestions to go to the hospital immediately. Instead, he delivered his scheduled speech. His opening comments to the gathered crowd were, “Friends, I shall ask you to be as quiet as possible. I don’t know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot—but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose.”[1]
Afterwards, probes and an x-ray showed that the bullet had lodged in Roosevelt’s chest muscle, but did not penetrate the pleura. Since Doctors concluded that it would be less dangerous to leave it in place than to attempt to remove it, Roosevelt carried the bullet with him for the rest of his life.

I’ve been a contractor for the SS and have met a lot of them. They are cut from a special cloth and are almost to a point person manic about taking a round for a someone they are protecting.
With that said anyone being able to setup on a roof within 2 miles of Trump should never have happened. Was his detail not given every resource they needed? There seems to be a question about that.
