CNN and the Washington Post are facing backlash for publishing misleading headlines downplaying the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump at his Saturday rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“Trump rushed off stage after loud noises at rally,” read the front page of the Washington Post, shortly after the former president flinched and bled from his ear after gunshots rang out around 6:10 p.m.

And Shawn Hannity and Laura Ingram are eviscerating the other MSM networks for their reporting which makes Trump such a target!

AN even bigger problem asking the regime for help guarding Trump is who would they send. Likely not their best. Trump has always had his own security but I think they are no allowed to assist.
Funny you should say that! I’ve often had admittedly unrealistic thoughts of local Sheriffs throughout the nation — who are THE law in their jurisdictions — arresting their area Democrat officials for aiding and abetting high treason.

Trump had turned his head to his right, looking at the extreme left end of the bleachers (and in the direction of the shooter), just before the shot was fired. The shot crossed the stage area from left to right, from the crowd's perspective. The teleprompter was probably not in the right place to deflect the bullet. Trump is a fortunate man - seems like he leaned forward against the podium just as the shot was fired. It was that close. The shooter had the elevation dialed in, it was Trump's motion that saved the day. Hand of God stuff, IMO.

That’s what worried me. The guy sounded a big too good! Sometimes that can be suspicious. but he will get interviewed to death over the next week. So if there is anything to come out it will.

FWIW and iirc-the glass is a pancake with an internal layer that the digital signal of the text sends across the material in the middle layer. The glass on either side is not bullet proof, but optically high quality. Again, this was 8 years ago iirc.
