Opinion | The Biden Problem Is Policy
WSJ via MSN ^ | July 11, 2024 | Kimberley A. Strassel

Democrats are finally beginning to admit that the declining Joe Biden is a problem. If they think he is their only one, or even their biggest, they are as confused as their leader.

That’s the glaring yet unspoken truth amid the battle over Mr. Biden’s future. The left and the media are keeping this discussion focused on individual prospective candidates and the liberal base. Who gives them the best shot in November? Is Mr. Biden too big a liability? Will black voters defect if the party kicks Kamala Harris to the curb? How does California’s Gavin Newsom rate next to Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer among unions, or Hispanics, or pro-choice women?......

The president who ran on uniting the country and restoring “standards and norms” also bowed to the far left’s worldview that the ends justify the means. The Justice Department signed on to the progressive lawfare campaign, unleashing criminal prosecutions against Mr. Trump and fueling fury among Republicans. Independents and moderates look with unease on actions the courts found unlawful—Covid mandates, student-loan forgiveness, environmental policy—and Democratic promises to pack the Supreme Court and federalize election law.......

The Republican Party has problems too—and doesn’t it know it. How could it not after eight years of a media fixated on Mr. Trump and “MAGA,” drilling in on every proposal, internal battle and Truth Social post? But Democrats have been given a ridiculous pass, their policy failures justified, their weaknesses swept under the carpet. See the 16 “Nobel-prize winning economists” who last month pronounced the Biden agenda “vastly superior” to anything Republicans might offer. Really? See the 51 former intelligence officials who disappeared Mr. Biden’s Hunter liability before the 2020 election. See the press corps, which noticed Mr. Biden’s problems only two weeks ago—and still aren’t noticing anything else.

No, the American public is the problem. Biden is an embarrassment, a vile, senile old perverted crook, and yet, it’s possible he could win.

When our education system is so bad that people actually vote for Biden, you know we need school reform.

News Flash - black US citizens are ALREADY defecting from the Democrat base, regardless of whether or not “Que mala” Harris is in some way on the Democrat ticket this fall. In no way, shape, form or manner, is the current VP representative of the descendants of the Africans held in bondage in the United States, as her supposed connection with persons of African descent was through JAMAICA, a British territory. So even her claim to being “black” is pretty thin, and certainly not in the American historical context.

Of course, anyone can call themselves “black” if they think it is in the least advantageous for whatever agenda they wish to pursue.

Three People Show Up to ‘Biden For President-
Reproductive Freedom’ Rally at PA State Capitol

By Cristina Laila, July 11, 2024, gatewaypundit.com

A whopping three people showed up at a Biden for President at the Pennsylvania State Capitol with legislators on Thursday.“Biden for President–Reproductive Freedom: Members of the PA State Legislature will join Amanda Zurawski and Kaitlyn Joshua — two women denied life-saving abortions due Donald Trump’s abortion ban–for a reproductive freedom rally,” the announcement said.

Three people showed up. There were more news reporters than attendees at the Biden rally at Soldier’s Grove. Four reporters showed up to the Biden for President rally. --- snip

Trying to make an issue when there is none is kinda difficult. These 3 PA gals have the same freedom they ever had as far as abortion.

Yes, the focus, even by Trump, on Biden’s fitness has been a distraction from the real problem that is Joe Biden, and that is Biden’s policies and the legislative agenda he has backed. That legislative agenda in particular wrote into law DEI legislative mandates into how every federal agency uses its funds and advances its objectives. The monies allocated were and are only one part of the problem, and more temporary than the legal matters of the legislation Biden got passed. Many of those things the legislation succeeded in are law and cannot be dismissed by mere executive action. THOSE matters more than the monies they reqauired and got approval or and are why the GOP should have stood on its head and refused to be part of any of them.

Talk radio 989 WORD Greenville SC:
<><>they register the illegals at the migrate centers,
<><>get the ballots mailed there to then harvest them.
<><>Most illegals dont even know they registered to vote, and have already moved away.

Follow the money.

A. Democrat candidates are looking at the dismal fund-raising.
B. The self-serving “big buck Bidens” are looking at the steal.

Biden fundraising takes major hit from debate fallout
Possibly downticket Dems also getting stiffed?

President Joe Biden’s campaign has already suffered a major slowdown in donations and officials are bracing for a seismic fundraising hit, with fallout from a debate nearly two weeks ago taking a sizable toll on operations, according to four sources close to the re-election effort.

“It’s already disastrous,” one of the sources close to Biden’s re-election said of fundraising. “The money has absolutely shut off” to the Biden campaign, another source close to Biden’s re-election said. Two of the sources said this month is on a path to be down by possibly half — “or much more,” one of them said — from large donors alone. (Excerpt) Read more at nbcnews.com ........

Yeah, a policy that has caused very high inflation on necessities such as food, motor fuel and utilities. No wonder the middle class has begun to shrink.

Of course it is. We have been living under leftist authoritarianism ever since. Hundreds of uncontested executive orders, ignoring the rule of law and the executive's responsibilities.

And we can see the consequences of it all.

The article is correct about Republican failure to fight it out on the issues. They need to play offense and stay on message, rather than rely on Biden’s senility and allow Democrats to make Trump’s personality the issue.

“bowed to the far left’s worldview”

Excellent summation, Kimberly. That raises the question, why did he do it? Voters, perhaps?

No Kim, Joe Biden has blown off “standards and norms” in pursuit of power for almost 50 years.

Trump has actually been very disciplined so far. The real battle over policy will begin in September. Right now it is personality driven. What is interesting to me is seeing how many young blacks are identifying as conservative. Still not what is needed to even come close to flipping the black vote to conservatives, but there does not seem to be much stigma for blacks who are outwardly conservative.

I think Trump is smart to go to the urban areas normally Democrat strongholds. He owns flyover country, he needs to cut into the urban areas. Illegal’s are cutting into metropolitan area resources. Black citizens are starting to realize before the great reset affects white citizens it is going to impact the current minority citizen communities. Citizens of Hispanic descent already understand what Biden’s open borders has done to their communities with thousands of criminals and cartel associates moving in. Just because someone has black or brown skin does not mean they can integrate into existing colored communities. That is something clueless white Dem overlords believe and frankly demonstrates their level of racism.

So 2 dead women attended the rally?

Someone explain to me which part of the abortion is a "reproductive right/freedom" right?
