~My conscience is clear. For the entirety of his alleged presidency, I've been calling Joe Biden "the dead husk of a moth-eaten sock puppet" - not because that's a uniquely penetrating insight but because, as I remarked along the way, it's perfectly obvious to any creature more sentient than a tapeworm. April 2021 - even on Fox News, although unbeknownst to me before airtime apparently some Senior Executive Vice-President vetoed "dead husk" from the prompter at the last minute:
So, Joe Biden or whoever has got his hand waggling that moth-eaten sock-puppet is consciously enriching these cartels and ensuring that they can expand their operations including more fentanyl to kill Americans...
But what do I know? I don't have a degree from Columbia Journalism School. And all the guys who do are suddenly Claude Rains:
'I'm shocked, shocked to find dementia going on in this White House!'
'Your revised list of approved questions for tomorrow's Biden interview, Captain Renault.'
'Oh, thank you very much...'

Made me smile.
Mark is sure great with words...
“The scandal is not that Jill Biden is Lady Macbeth - you can’t blame anyone for preferring to do multiple Vogue covers if the alternative is sitting in a Delaware basement watching Matlock reruns and spoonfeeding the drooler his tapioca.”
Steyn was educated at King Edward's School, Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, the same school that author J.R.R. Tolkien attended and where Steyn was assigned a Greek dictionary that had also been used by Tolkien.[15] Although it was reported by The Age in 2006 that Steyn had left school at age 16,[16] his name appears in the King Edward's School yearbook for 1977-78 as a member of "Cl.VI", that is, the "Classics [Upper] 6th form", which is the normal final year for students at that school.
What is absent is any college/university level education, which shows, first, that you can learn a lot from a first-rate classics education through "high-school" withou college.
Second, talent and hard-work can get you ahead despite lack of strong subservience to elitist doctrine and brain-rot for ideas.

Oh yeah, Steyn is far too bright to have been damaged by a fine education.
Scarborough Fair or Fairport Convention?
Likewise, he's our guy and we're sticking with him... Unless it starts to look as if the scale of what's necessary to get him across the finish line is beyond even our formidable capabilities... At which point, as handmaidens to Democrat power, we'll do what's necessary.
That's really all there is to this. Were it otherwise, newly independent media would relish the adversarial posing that a Trump presidency would offer them. When I see any signs of that, pigs will fly.
Marking Mark Steyn.
Just a treasure, that man.
Reading or listening to Mark steyn increases your IQ a few points
.
“a Greek dictionary that had also been used by Tolkien”
Probably not a full version Scott and Liddel Greek Dictionary which doubles as a low stool or footrest.
