Vasa or Wasa is a Swedish warship built between 1626 and 1628. The ship sank after sailing roughly 1,300 m (1,400 yd) into her maiden voyage on 10 August 1628. The Vasa was dangerously unstable, with too much weight in the upper structure of the hull. Despite this lack of stability, she was ordered to sea and sank only a few minutes after encountering a wind stronger than a breeze.

I worked on the SPS-49 when I was at Raytheon. The antenna looks like it is made of steel, but most of the reflector was actually aluminized mylar. It was the size of the side of a barn 24’ x 8’, but light like a feather. The feed horn, and support, not so light. It was fitted onto destroyers. The Navy bureau of ships hated it, because of the mass aloft on smaller ships. The power supplies and transmitter acted as counterweight, but that increased the roll moment of inertia. A lot of newbies must have lost their lunch on those boats.

Oh, dear. That sort of stuff tends to appear on your OER. “It was heavy seas, Admiral.” “In port?”
