Larry Sabato: ‘Race Between Biden and Trump Is No Longer Close’
Breitbart ^ | 07/06/2024 | Jeff poor

Posted on 07/06/2024 10:52:58 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Friday, during an appearance on CNN, University of Virginia Center for Politics director Larry Sabato declared the contest for the White House between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump was “no longer close.”

Sabato dismissed the notion that an interview or a rally could bridge the gap between the two, suggesting that there was little Biden could do.

“I don’t think [President Biden] can change the dynamic with one interview,” he said. “I suppose you’d say stop the bleeding and the bleeding has been bad. I mean, we’ve been looking at all the data coming in, all the surveys — some public, some private — and it’s bad. Democrats need to understand that, things are not stable and it is no longer close. The race between Biden and Trump is no longer close.”

The internal polls are the coin of the realm.

The reason for that is the methodology is fully disclosed to insiders—so there is no cooking the books or just plain stupidity or negligence.

Larry is running a shelter at UVA for humiliated never Trumpers.

He probably could use some contributions of dog food.

Not true. The headlines were misleading. Buried in the news about the visit by the Parkinson’s doc is that Biden does not have that disease.

“I think it would be a mistake for anyone to be overconfident.”

That is why politically the dems have to continously be flogged into idiocy if need be. Never let up, pursue until they grind to a halt.

It's NOT who votes, but who counts the votes.

Actually it's now; how long the votes are allowed by counted.

They will pull the Parkinson’s card to pull out. And toss Kamala over for not alerting them to the he evil Jill Biden sooner.

And the Parkinson's card may well be legit. The only reason Biden is their candidate is Harris polls even worse than he does. They need to find a way to either keep Joe in the race, or replace him with someone not named Kamala. And they need to do it without offending the black feminists that are not only their most reliable voters, but key players in the urban fraud machine that tilts election results in the wee hours of the morning.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling that the laws *must* be ignored regarding authenticating ballots was truly a remarkable and brazen effort...and the vote totals were definitely close enough that could have very well made the difference.

Multiple states would have flipped if only a fraction of a percent shifted, therefore, many singular events had they not occurred would almost certainly have the difference - one of those was the press ignoring the laptop story or only reporting it as being a Republican/Trump scandal - certainly at least a fraction of a point would have shifted their votes if that had been correctly and adequately reported (not to mention all of the major social media apps blocking it from even being referenced to further suppress the story). Another one was the fake Russian collusion story - even though it was proven false by the time of the election, the constant barrage of negative news coverage still would have lowered Trump’s ceiling of support, however unjustly. The constant barrage of false news coverage claiming he was doing “nothing” on COVID while ignoring the regular updates given by Pence to create that illusion (not trying to pick a scab given how things have gone with Pence since then...but nonetheless, it was still a media lie). Could go on and on with things that rigged the narrative against Trump to affect merely that tiny fraction of the vote from the media and other actors working against him. Unfortunately, there are singular events our own side did that may have also caused it...not adequately funding Trump and other candidates to where the DNC/Biden campaign were able to run circles around us in the air war...many media outlets were all Biden / all the time allowing him to control the narrative without any competing message...but for Trump getting convicted it was happening again this election cycle with lack of funding, and also our side not utilizing every available election tool allowing the Democrats have to a massive advantage in turnout operations...it appears our side may have learned their lesson and taking a cue from Florida 2022 on how you must compete with Democrats on every front or just get run over.

Wonder if one of the scenarios is try to keep her as the VP with a different presidential candidate...

Watch out for Andy Beshear. If it isn’t this election cycle, he is going to be trouble in a future one. We are really going to regret not funding and supporting our candidate for governor in 2023 in what was a very winnable race...but he was massacred by Beshear’s overwhelming fundraising advantage and was not able to defend against a barrage of months of attacks to define him and Beshear was never truly put on the defensive - portraying himself as mainstream and moderate when in fact he is about as far left as they come.

You know, if you took that map & looked at the lightest blue predicted state like Florida & North Carolina- those were close to the margin of error & Trump ended up winning them & I believe in Nevada & New Hapshire, he barely lost/it was almost 50/50. So none of those were majorly off- all within a couple points of prediction. Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Ohio & Alaska- predicted as Trump wins- were correct. He actually won them by bigger margins than predicted. The main states that the polls got wrong were the upper Midwest states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania- which Trump won & Minnesota, though won by Hillary, was closer than expected 😉

Well, that may mean Trump is peaking too early - giving an opening to the Comeback Kid from Scranton. :)

My thought too. I have never seen the Rats so united against their own guy or gal, no matter who it was. This mass, sudden epiphany is all too coincidental. I'm not buying it.

I think they will find a way to prop the old goat up like crazy after the next "debate" and will push the Comeback Kid scenario.

The fix is still in...it's always in. And P.S., be prepared for the Mother of all Fraud in November.
