Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.) is attempting to assemble a group of Democratic senators to ask President Biden to exit the presidential race, according to two people with direct knowledge of the effort.

Warner is telling Democratic senators that Biden can no longer remain in the election in the wake of his faltering debate performance, according to the people familiar with private conversations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely. Warner has told others that he is deeply concerned that Biden is not able to run a campaign that could beat former president Donald Trump.

*I represent that remark on occasion.....
OK, OK, I am a dufus. It was governors, not Senators that have already meet with JoeK.*

U R knot a dufus-only the people on our side who won’t take advantage-most of us.

*they should be pushing the 25th. The votes may not be there. Even if every Democrat voted to remove Biden, it’ll go nowhere if they do not get a single Republican vote.*

The good news-the 25th is complicated enough to where we can throw gasoline on THEIR fire. Republican votes-think removing McCarthy.= and how the rats played it-learn something.

*if they do not get a single Republican vote.*

How about 25 of them? 25 democrats are lined up to get rid of Biden. All republicans(short of 25)could vote to run him out only requiring those 25 Biden naysayers to put their November where their mouth is. Flush them out.

Look. WE have the majority in the house. Find 25 purple district scardy cats(GOP) who would say no to removal. The rest can put the rats in-between that rock/hard place. Then see what happens. We got the whole summer to vote on it. Chicago convention(+riots) in August. I’d be awesome to watch.

It’s an absolute wonder to see the rats operating other than in lockstep

They usually have tight narrative discipline.

And Jeffries is reportedly doing the same in the House.

What does that mean?

If he isn’t capable of running *for* President, how he is capable of handling the responsibilities *being* President, which is a far greater responsibility than being a mere candidate? Why aren’t they asking him to resign, period? It is inconsistent to claim he needs to step down as the nominee, but can remain as President for the rest of the term. No important decisions need to be made until next January?

Joey needs to finish his term and run for reelection. I think all those efforts to change the election should be thwarted.

The Democrats could not care less about national security or who is President.

All they care about is winning elections.

I’ll go on the record now. They will NEVER replace Biden. They’ll hide him away and send out AI generated statements from him before that will happen.
Not. Gonna. Happen.

No GOP vote or Senator vote involved. Cabinet only.

I am hoping Biden stays in. It’ll make for a great DNC convention and possibly a 2024 GOP landslide.

The Vice President and the majority of the Cabinet.

Then two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.

Biden will step down on his own once the Biden faction stands alone. The orders have gone out and the rest of the media will fall in line asking for him to step down (at least from the campaign). I give it till the end of next week.

The proverbial men in the grey suits walking up Pennsylvania Ave.

It’s coming. Probably in the next week.

Senile people never want to give up the keys to their car. They don’t realize how far gone they are. It’s just that families don’t usually tell them they are fine when they see they are not. That is what is wrong here.

It’s obscene that the family will make other people do this.

that would be a dangerous game by republicans. Biden has no business being president. R’s should vote to remove him for the good of the country.
