The Dump Biden movement has regained momentum inside the Democratic Party.
We cannot yet say for sure that it will succeed. Team Biden is still digging in to keep their man in contention.
But the ground is slipping from under the President's feet. It could soon be an unstoppable landslide.
By this time next week, the Democrats could be looking for a new presidential candidate. Or still ripping themselves apart over whether they should be.
I spoke to two senior Democrats today, one an experienced election strategist, the other on Joe Biden's staff when he was vice president.
Both were unequivocal: Biden should withdraw and make way for someone else.
A third Democratic operative was even more blunt: 'Everybody wants him to quit.'
It is the new mood music of a troubled party, even if only a handful, like Rep Lloyd Doggett (Dem, Texas) and Raul Grijalva (Dem, Arizona), are prepared to say publicly that Biden must pull out.
Of course, these are barely household names, even in their own households. But behind them is a wall of names poised to follow suit.
The moment more do, the dam will burst and Biden's position will be untenable.
Even some senior Democrats Biden met behind closed doors to shore up his position, like Governors Jared Golden (Maine) and Marie Perez (Washington), told him they thought he'd lose to Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, House Democrats are busy exchanging draft letters of varying 'Dump Biden' intensity.

I never thought I would cheer for Joe Bidon.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
They are admitting they know how he won the presidency, and it wasn’t with 81 million actual votes. If he had, he would command the respect of the office.
The townsfolk uncomfortably go along with the pretense, not wanting to appear inept or stupid, until a child blurts out that the emperor is wearing nothing at all. The people then realize that everyone has been fooled. Although startled, the emperor continues the procession, walking more proudly than ever.

Perhaps they need to be reminded that all the democrat voters just selected Biden. And his condition has not changed since the selection.

They essentially usurped the Office of the Presidency.
Advocating for removal of Biden, or discussing whether Democrats should force him out, is not permitted. Joe Biden is the Democratic nominee and is protected by DU's "Don't bash Democratic public figures" rule. Advocating for his removal is currently considered "undermining" our candidate in a general election. Juries should act accordingly to remove such posts.

Here’s the problem. If Joe resigns, it’s all Kamala’s. Obama can’t play. If he tries to put forth his “wife,” then the dems supporting Obama would have to explain why the current black female president (because remember, Kamala ran as a black woman) is not as good as the other black woman (Michelle) who also has zero standing for president.
It’s a mess for them. Their earpiece and boosting uppers were not enough this time and it all unraveled.
As for the media…they know the gig is up. They are bailing in hopes of looking relevant and seeing Justice.
If the no talent junior senator, B-HO, were as legendary as his mythology, this wouldn’t be an issue. However, Obama is a “lead from behind” guy and that’s never changed. Chaos ensues. Popcorn stocks rise.
They want him to die closer to the election. “Vote for the dead guy!”
Really only a couple of weeks. The longer this goes on, the worse it gets.
Make no mistake, it is either Biden/Harris or Harris/TBD.
Neither option looks like a winner
There was a Dump Clinton movement after his affair was made public.
It didn’t work.
Prepare for a repeat.
The DUmp has carefully maneuvered themselves into a circular firing squad.
It is only a matter of time before they demand FBI swat teams start raiding each other’s homes for supporting insurrection.
