President Biden may soon face increased pressure from Democrats in Congress to drop out of the 2024 race, according to a report.

At least 25 House Democrats are preparing to call for the 81-year-president to end his re-election bid in the wake of his disastrous debate against former President Donald Trump, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a House Democratic aide.

Centrist House Democrats in competitive districts – the lawmakers most at risk of losing their seats in November – were so alarmed by Biden’s infirmed appearance in last week’s showdown with the 78-year-old presumptive Republican nominee that they are considering writing a letter to Biden, according to the outlet.

Those lawmakers have been peppered with questions about Biden by constituents since returning to their districts for the House’s Fourth of July week recess.

“It looks like the dam has broken,” a second House Democratic aide told the outlet.

Democrats always took the moral high ground. A gift from the media. Well no more.

So they’re all worried about the election, not so much for the security of the country.

Screw ‘‘em all . . .

....”they are ‘considering’ writing a letter to Biden”....

By the time they get around to doing anything it’ll be their convention.

No. He needs to stay right where he is. He’ll deteriorate rapidly over the next few months.

Something I haven’t heard in the media yet, what if Xiden releases all his nomination delegates and most won’t go over to somebody else for whatever reason, then what?

The states can force them to vote a certain way. SCOTUS has ruled.

Or what if they go to someone like AOC?

The POwers that be don’t want to lose control of the situation. I still think they’d rather lose with Biden and plan to take the House and Senate in 26 through lies and lawfare

The Republicans are always kind of dumb and lacking backbone, afraid of their own shadow…but man, when the Democrats implode they go all the way.

Yes, I concur. We need to get someone in there that has a shot at winning.

As it is, it’s just not sporting.

That was my original thinking as well, but I’m starting to have my doubts. Instead of the dump Biden movement dying down, it appears to be gaining steam. We seem to be witnessing a game of chicken between the two sides. Neither side has retreated. When one does, then we’ll know which side won.

How can he be too incompetent to run yet ok enough to be President, Commander in Chief, possessor of the nuclear codes, for seven more months?!

Why aren’t the Republicants all over that question?
