In March of 2023, a column in The Wall Street Journal argued that Biden had no business running for a second term because, among other reasons, of his mental capacity.
Going back to September 2021, Biden didn’t seem to have a clue that his senior military advisors opposed his total withdrawal from Afghanistan (they supported a smaller contingent to stabilize the civilian government and prevent the return of Al Qaeda there).
The diminished Biden’s disastrous Afghan withdrawal is now the stuff of legends.

Right about now, Democrats are waking up to the fact that the botched debate was not just about candidate Biden, but about the obliteration of a cheap, carefully constructed Democrat facade.

Even more frightening is to think that Biden actually makes any decisions

Debate night Joe was befuddled, bewildered with nowhere to turn. We should be worried. All of our countries’ enemies saw that we have no functioning president. You can bet they now smell blood. Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong Un were all watching and are making plans accordingly.
The deep state, Democrats, and their media allies, have put our country closer to peril than ever before the stunt they pulled debate night, and Biden couldn’t stop it even if he had the intellectual acuity needed to accomplish it.
The Democrat cabal, under Joe Biden, has given us govt by secret committee; it doesn’t work in a republic.
I don't think so. We should not discount hundreds of other wealthy donors from coast to coast, and other groups like government employees, thousands of wealthy tech employees, and "educators".
Who will succeed is a lot harder to decide. If they want to go full crazy radical they might try something like a Whitmer/Jeffries ticket and run on DEI, abortion and reparations - electable? Probably not, but cheatable, maybe. More practical souls in Deep State are already preparing a reprise of The Resistance for four years after looking at Trump's numbers. I was thinking it was going to be an interesting summer but not quite this interesting.
