Democrat party rules make it very difficult to replace a candidate before or after the convention unless the candidate voluntarily steps down - and even then, it is pretty much a free for all.

Not to mention in 2000 we had the son of the previous Republican president running for president. And then again in 2016 we had the son and brother of previous Republican presidents running for president.

After the November election, “Michelle my Belle”then steps down leaving Newsome as the President-elect. The dems then find another DEI to serve as Vice President. Cruz makes a good point about Biden’s angry man “liar liar” routine, which is getting lost in dementia talk.
Imagine any Republican acting the way Biden does, and it not being a huge turn off to voters. It would be the only thing the media would be talking about.
