Democrats Admit Biden’s Debate Performance Was A Disaster. That Should Worry Everyone
The Federalist ^ | June 28, 2024 | Eddie Scarrie

As happy as Donald Trump’s supporters surely are with the display, the event puts the nation in a highly precarious situation — what won’t Democrats do now, this late in the game, to win the election? If you thought all of 2020 was a wild ride — the Covid hysteria, the race riots, and everything before — the next four months now are going to be a rollercoaster straight through all seven circles of hell.....

It’s not really like Democrats are in a dramatically different position between now and yesterday. Or for the last two years. Anyone paying loose attention in that time has known that Biden is simply not up to the task. Literally, today, it’s a national security threat that he’s in office. The only difference is that this was a nationally televised debate, and for the first time in Biden’s presidency he was placed directly next to his competition. It made everything that everyone has said all along real...

To guess what happens next is to stare into an inky, bottomless pit and search for what might rapidly crawl toward the surface.

If you thought all of 2020 was a wild ride — the Covid hysteria, the race riots, and everything before — the next four months now are going to be a rollercoaster straight through all seven circles of hell.

Democrats have already tried to keep Trump off state ballots. They’ve tried to bankrupt him. They’ve tried to put him in prison. And now their candidate to defeat him is indisputably ailing in health, not to mention an irrefutably bad president with a terrible record in office.

Have you ever cornered a rabid animal? That’s the situation that the debate has left us with, except the sick beast has a gun.

I've been saying, over and over, right here on FR that I suspected that the Dems had no intention of running Mister Biden.

Why would they insist on a debate BEFORE the conventions?

And, nobody should be surprised by Mister Bidens sad (yes I feel pity for the man) performance. Especially the Dems who work with him daily.

Why wait until now?

For one thing, it circumvents that primary election thingy that lets actual Dem voters pick the candidate. (Democracy? Ha! The Dem elites prefer power, one suspects)

Look for the replacement candidate (s?) to 1. fake surprise and 2. pretend reluctance at accepting the "challenge" at this late hour.

You saw who the democrats were supporting almost totally up until last night. The condition of CA will not matter at all. All that matters is how he looks. He’s way younger and as was pointed out above, Democratic women will swoon over him and vote for him in totality. I would bet my house Gavin easily beats Trump. As easily as Gavin beat his recall.

“Trump needs to pay VERY close attention to personal security. The left hates him and wants him dead.”

Trump lives well and so do members of his Secret Service detail. He is a people person, and they will do their best for him.

Remember too, Trump is just one man.

No one is irreplaceable.

I am getting on in years so maybe I am slow to remember things. (I am 3.5 years older than Slow Joe.) But Jill Biden leading Joe Biden off the stage reminded me of something from my youth.

When I was about 6 my parents took me to an amusement park where, for a penny, a cackling old hag would tell your fortune by pushing a card out. The cackling old hag looked a lot like Jill.

I kept that card because I thought it was humorous: “You will die on the public stage.”

The problem is who do they choose?

The owners of the Democrat party will pick two unknown people who can look good on television and will follow directions. They will be a black man and a white woman, presented as a "Unity" ticket. One of them might be a former Republican.

There will be "mostly peaceful" objections from other factions, which will be expressed at the Democrat convention. It should be an entertaining episode of the "Our Democracy" show.

I am wondering how the Democrats will dispose of Kamala Harris.

Joe Biden was never competent. He was always known as the “dumbest man in the Senate.”

He had brain surgery twice in 1988 and has been in at least a gradual decline ever since.

Biden was not up to the task of being “one heartbeat away” from the Presidency under Barack Obama, and blatantly obviously not able to execute the duties of President in 2020.

Beltway insiders have always known this. The marionettists in the Democrat Party were ecstatic to have a puppet to totally control.

The corporate media, and everyone who came into regular contact with Joe Biden knew this.

This is the level of disdain the Left and uniparty have for the people of the United States and our system of government.

“I am wondering how the Democrats will dispose of Kamala Harris.”

A college president can get paid over $1 million/year.

Some elite universities need new presidents.

I like the idea that’s kicking around in President Trump’s head of abolishing the income tax and the IRS. I do hope the cutting into the federal goobermint is as drastic as the new president of Argentina’s was. 70,000 jobs in a country the size of Argentina is big news. Hop0efully the butchering of our monster will be as large percentagewise.

I predict that the judge in New York will impose a sentence that will keep Trump from leaving the state thinking that will derail the freight train.

“Now Republicans need to continuously call the 25th amendment to be enacted.”

What Republicans need to do is sit down and shut up.

You are giving the same advice that has had republicans continually losing to leftist democrats. Democrats have been winning because they fight to win. If Republicans truly want to continue to be a losing losers then your advice might be valuable.

Acting without a solid plan is just dumb.

The Republicans need a simple plan.

We want President Trump to win the election in 2024.

Anything that helps that happen is good.

Anything else is either a waste of time or bad.

The Democratic Party is divided and in a circular firing squad.

We want them to stay there as long as possible.

“Acting” will not help accomplish that goal.

There are times to act decisively and times to stand aside and do nothing.

Wise people identify those situations and act appropriately.

Losing advice from a losing disciple of the losing loser GOPe. Go flap your lips at somebody else and afflict your weakness on them. I am just waiting for your womanly sensibilities to drive you to declare support for Biden.

You can research all my posts—and you will realize that your characterization of me was totally incorrect.

I have been fighting the good fight for five decades—in the belly of the beast.

Then why are you counseling weakness and surrender now? Was it all just for show and now when it is critical that we push hard for victory you tell us to stand down? Maybe you should go onto DU and tell them to surrender instead.

I am not understanding all the hostility.

“Do something” is not always the best solution to every situation.

Sometimes you have to stick the knife in. All that your are advocation for is weakness and a refusal to win.
