On CNN, it is reported Democrats are thinking, "Biden's performance was dismal... some of the conversations include should we go to the White House to ask the President to step aside.

Otherwise, Biden was not going to debate Trump.
All is going according to the dem’s plan, they are elated. There is no surprise here as this is why the debate was scheduled and executed so early as to give as much time as possible for another candidate to take Oatmeal Brain’s place. The only thing that was surprising was that Biden didn’t drool and appeared not to crap his pants.
Tonight’s ‘surprise’ call by the MSM for Biden to step aside was planned all along.

Yes, they went right past Biden as candidate and are now openly asking who will go to Biden and as him to resign!!!
Why? Because it’s now going to be full steam ahead to get Biden replaced?
Kamala and Gavin? Those fools poll just ahead of kidney stones in popularity. The only thing going for Whitmer is she doesn’t have name recognition nationally. In Michigan she is reviled for her covid performance and is noted for an inordinate fondness for leather clothing... IOW, their bench is mighty shallow.

I think the restrictions worked to Trump’s advantage. His natural tendency is to turn the debate into a mini-rally, the CNN format restrictions kept him out of the ditches and forced him to be concise and not veer off the subject.
This format produced the best “debate” of the last two cycles and the moderators did a good job.
Quite the opposite to what most everyone on FR expected.
They will have to pry Jill Biden out of the door frame to remove her from the WH-she will be clinging to it with her fingernails...

This was what I was worried about, I wanted Biden to do bad, but not nearly as bad as he did. I wanted him to do good enough that these conversations about replacing him wouldn’t pop up. Let’s face it Trump WILL beat Biden, where he may beat another democrat, but it’s not nearly as much of a sure thing.
I was surprised by the amount of balance that was exhibited by the moderators.
I just did, thanks for the recommendation that was enough. Biden voice seems like he’s getting weaker by the day and clearly does not have his brain firing on all cylinders all joking aside. Trump had some good answers. He was in this typical form. I almost sort of wish. Biden looked a little bit stronger to make the case for replacing him weaker
Based on the CNN post-debate panel, Biden is toast. They were talking about how to get him to step down, not whether he should.
The token Republican guy brought up how this plays into the “Voting for Biden is voting for President Harris” argument. Not one panelist spoke up to defend Harris or pretend she wouldn’t be a huge liability after Biden’s disasterous performance. Even professional liars have limits.
Even MSNBC is asking ‘What now?’
