A mom has claimed she was booted off a United Airlines flight with her distressed 16-month-old son over using the wrong pronoun for a flight attendant.
Jenna Longoria was expecting to fly to Austin from San Francisco on Wednesday with her mom and son when United stopped them from traveling.
She alleges she was denied boarding after an 'accidental' mix-up when addressing a United staff member, who she says refused to accept her apology.
The frantic mom also alleged the flight had taken off with her luggage containing her and her mom's medication still on board, leaving at risk of becoming 'very sick' while stranded.
'They're saying it's a hate crime that I did and that I might not even be able to ever fly United again,' she fumed in a clip posted on Instagram.
In the clip, she says while boarding the flight she mis-gendered an employee.
'I will tell you what happened now, I got one of the flight attendant's pronouns wrong and the other flight attendant didn't like it,' Longoria explained.
'I said, "I'm really sorry, I'm not very versed in pronouns," I was holding my son, he was having a temper tantrum, I had the car seat on my back.
'I wasn't really focusing on anything except getting my son's car seat on the plane and getting him comfortable.'

Anyone following pronoun excrement deserves no respect and no business. Thankfully, I no longer have to put up with airlines with their crappy service, iffy schedules, and DEI pilots.
The flight biotch can go pound sand
The DA and the Sheriff need to seek warrants for the flight crew for stealing the medicines. Every stolen pill can be used as the basis of a separate felony charge. Then their future pronouns will be easy for then to remember, it stars with “convict” and is followed by a number. United will love the free publicity.
Is ‘bitch” a correct pronoun?
PURE EVIL!!!!
One of these days this is going to explode into violence. Someone will be going to a funeral, and will be denied boarding because he accidentally used the wrong pronoun to the wrong person.
The aggrieved passenger will of course end up in prison.
And as a side point, whatever happened to “sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never hurt me”? We now live in something akin to Brezhnev’s USSR. Saying the wrong thing won’t get you executed. But you will suffer mightily otherwise.
The baby tried to help by saying “liberty.”
That, and ‘transbitch’
I smell a lot more not being said on this one.
Never take one side as fact..at least initially.
When I fly I never use any form of address. May seem rude, but it is at least safe from this kind of BS.
Just start referring to everyone as your excellency.
Then we have this:
“In the clip, she can be seen talking to a United staff member who informs her it was the captain’s decision to deny her from the flight for ‘what came out of your mouth’.
“The employee also tells her ‘there was some more that I heard’, beyond the pronoun error.
‘They basically said tough luck and they won’t tell me exactly what I said,’ Longoria said.”
Wanna bet the flight attendant lied and made up something? I can see it happening to cover his FAT A$$. And that corpulent disgusting blob makes me want to vomit - freaking PAT.
That woman needs to sue to find out what happened before this escalates where they say she made threats. Those nutjobs will say anything to advance their agenda.
Can’t wait to read about the first company that gets sued into bankruptcy (like Alex Jones) for this shit.
I took my first light this month after a lapse of 5 years. It was dreadful experience. I had reserved an isle seat in the 2nd row from last row, so I would have short access to toilet. American Airlines placed a family behind me in the last seat with a very sick child. The child was with dad. Mom and other young kid were next to me. The sick child was having coughing fits lasting several minutes. I asked the steward if he would switch me to another seat so the family can have both rows of seats. There were 3 or 4 middle seats open in the front of plane. I cannot believe the steward refused saying cannot change seats after plane is in the air! His attitude was belligerent and arrogant. So I sat through the 5-hour flight wearing my mask. I hate flying. It was so much better before year 2000.
Lol
I’d say something like “You can kiss my male azz, you-itch”.
But there appears to be more to the story, with another video showing a United Airlines staffer appearing to reference more than just accidental confusion about the employee's pronouns.
In the clip, she can be seen talking to a United staff member who informs her it was the captain's decision to deny her from the flight for 'what came out of your mouth'.
The employee also tells her 'there was some more that I heard', beyond the pronoun error.
I'm noticing a factor here.
For using the right pronouns, more likely.
“When I fly I never use any form of address.”
That’s a good rule wherever you are and whoever you are talking to. No more “sir” and “ma’am.”
I DO like it when folks call this oldster “Sir.” No complaints from me. But if they try “Ma’am” they are in for it.
