Following speculation that former President Donald Trump might select Republican Vivek Ramaswamy as his vice presidential candidate, Ramaswamy’s chances have significantly increased on prediction platforms like Polymarket. Over the last three days, his odds have jumped by 1,100%.

On Tuesday, the internet buzzed with ongoing speculation that Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump would name Vivek Ramaswamy as his running mate. One piece of the rumor mill claims that Trump announced his VP choice would be present at the upcoming debate against the current U.S. President Joe Biden. Furthermore, after Ramaswamy withdrew from the presidential contest, Trump praised him as a “smart guy.”

The Polymarket wager is now valued at more than $49 million at press time. Additionally, a rise in Ramaswamy’s rising odds is also quite noticeable on predictit.org, where his chances escalated from 2% on June 21 to the present 20%. North Dakota’s 33rd Governor, Doug Burgum, remains the frontrunner on predictit.org, while Vance’s odds have significantly declined in the past three days. On the predictit.org market, Ramaswamy now leads, with Vance holding a 15% chance.
As the buzz around Ramaswamy’s potential vice-presidential nomination continues to stir, the prediction markets are reflecting a dynamic shift. His surging odds not only underscore a growing consensus about interest in him but also hint at a strategic reshuffling within the Republican ranks. I’d take him as a secretary of the economy. He might be good at doing a Javier on the US economy.

He would not lose half of his support. That said, l hope it’s not Vivek. He will not add a single vote to the ticket. At this point that is what actually matters.
I agree with you on the natural born thing being a problem with supporting Vivek as VP. Before illegal immigration became the huge problem it's been lately, when we fussed about anchor babies we were talking mainly about babies born here to legal immigrants. Having Vivek as VP undermines that.
My concern is — CAN HE HANDLE THE JOB SHOULD (GOD FORBID) SOMETHING HAPPEN TO TRUMP AND HE HAS TO TAKE OVER?

Also the guy is a Hindu. Trump could lose a large portion of the Christians.
Who's going to verify who they end up voting for ? And if they really follow through Trump doesn't need their vote. Vivek will bring in far more voters, younger ones especially, than the smidgen that will be lost.

According to many here and elsewhere in the conservative movement, Ramaswamy is not constitutionally eligible to be president because his parents are immigrants from India.
