More voters in six key swing states say they trust former President Donald Trump to do a better job than President Joe Biden handling threats to democracy in the U.S., according to a poll by The Washington Post.

The Post's survey, conducted with the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, involved voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — all states Biden narrowly won in the 2020 election.

Among the voters who participated in the survey, 64% were labeled "deciders" by the Post because they are sporadic or uncommitted voters who likely will play a pivotal role in deciding this year's presidential contest.

All Trump has to do every time Biden tries to “trigger” him is say “I am already damn angry so you dont have to bait me, Im damn angry at what you have done to this country, you have destroyed it, and caused the slaughter of so many innocent americans including a 12 yr old girl whose funeral was today, so you dont have to bait me Im already damn angry!”

Defining a Constitutional Republic

The United States operates as a constitutional republic, a form of government that involves representatives elected by the people, who execute their duties under the constraints of a prevailing constitution that specifies the powers and limits of government.

Both of the candidates this year had an opportunity to weaponize the DOJ and the federal LE organizations against his political enemies. Only one did. Why is it surprising to the WaPo folks that people saw the one who didn’t as not being a threat to democracy?
