1) The Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group (BLAG) voted tonight 3-2, confirming the offiicial legal position of the House is that the J6 committee was illegitimate, and all subpoenas issued by the committee were also illegitimate.

2) BLAG has now directed the House Office of General Counsel to file an Amicus Brief in support of Steve Bannon with Justice Roberts.

If Bannon wins, Navarro could seek immediate release based on the favorable ruling in Bannon’s case. By way of example, Conrad Black was imprisoned on federal accounting fraud charges. He was eventually released after the Supreme Court invalidated the government's theory of prosecution under the same statute in an entirely separate case.

The freedom of speech right has to do with the government not being allowed to charge you with a crime, but civil courts which are for settling disputes can certainly make you pay for defamation. The families were harassed, so he has to pay damages. He should’ve been less stupid about his wild accusations about so many people.
