Wow, talk about setting the expectations bar low!
On today's Morning Joe, Washington Post columnist and MSNBC analyst Eugene Robinson said that if Biden can "remain upright" and "make sense," that would be a "massive victory" in Thursday night's presidential debate..

I’m not counting on it, but how hilarious would it be if Biden can’t remain upright, or utters a long riff of unintelligible gibberish, or freezes with hands at sides for 10 seconds and has to be helped off stage?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
What is the take-away if he shits his pants while standing?
Sounds more to me like the lead in to the inevitable changing of their candidate from Mr. Poopy Pants to the next lowlife loser.
The media will have the broadcast on a delay so we would never see if he did anything dementia related.
Setting the bar pretty low, eh? No way PedoJoe will remain upright or coherent after 10 minutes, max.
In 2024, this is the BEST the Democommie Party has to offer!
“if Biden can’t remain upright, or utters a long riff of unintelligible gibberish, or freezes with hands at sides for 10 seconds and has to be helped off stage”
I can assure you of one thing.....the liberal media will find a way to spin it as a massive biden victory.....and it will be almost word for word no matter what tv network you watch.
This has to be the most extreme example of “lowering the bar” and “managing expectations” that I have ever seen or heard ...
Biden will do fine because he will be drugged although he may appear and sound aggressive and angry.
Somewhere out there in the dark Thursday night gavin gruesome will be sticking pins in his little taterhead doll.
Imagine them setting that low bar for any foreign leader.
Biden will be drugged up. The sundowners will make him aggressive and combative. I am thinking that Trump’s plan is to remain calm and professional and let biden be biden.
CNN will edit the hell out of the event to make biden look calm and professional to use in campaign ads.
Trump will prop him up.
OR flies off the handle in a vicious and incoherent rage ... something that can happen with the types of drug cocktail his handlers are likely using ...
hopefully, Trump has got a few zinger buttons ready to push to provoke such a reaction ...
Biden’s got the real debate problem.
He put on his “Feeble Old Man w/ a Failing Memory Act”
to dupe S/C Hur, who fell for it hook line and sinker.
That act kept Biden out of jail for mishandling classified documents.
At the debate, Biden has to switch gears to win.
He’ll do his “I’m a Healthy, Smart Beacon of Democratic Leadership Act.”
From feeble to leader......that’ll be some trick.
Biden has spent the last six months “lowering expectations” about himself
<><>he convinced America that he can’t walk or talk
<><>he convinced S/C Hur that he’s a feeble old man w/ a poor memory
<><>Biden’s addled brain act WRT mishandling classified documents kept him out of jail.
<><>so now debate Biden is going to switch gears
<><>Biden has left the feeble act behind
<><>Biden will show a masterful command of the issues
<><>he’s going to look strong and he’s going to go after Trump
<><>no worries about going to jail now, debate Biden is going gangbusters.
Trump will have to mention that he is debating the moderators in the debate. He shouldn't answer each question directly from one of the moderators (Jan 6., climate change, "democracy" in USA), instead he should take a page out of Vivek's playbook and talk about how he'll "fix things" like inflation, economy and Russo-Ukrainian War.
Brandon wins if he hits the stage in a drag outfit. Guaranteed.
But, what if Joe CAN’T remain upright? Does he fall down and go splatt?
Now THAT’S entertainment.
