Roughly 100,000 took part in early voting for this year's federal and state primary elections in New York, according to state Board of Elections numbers.

Between June 15 and June 23, 102,883 residents voted early.

Nearly half of those — 46,241 — came from New York City voters. About 56,642 came from voters in the other parts of the state. Statewide, the highest turnout day was the last day, June 23.

In upstate's more populous counties, 1,031 people voted early in Erie County, 1,995 voted early in Monroe County, 4,603 voted early in Albany County and 3,877 voted early in Onondaga County.

New York's federal and state election primary is tomorrow. This article has the numbers of those voting early. We will see if those numbers magically change after the votes are counted.

I wonder if Rep. Jamaal Bowman (of fire alarm fame) and AOC's vulgar little rally over the weekend will have an effect on the votes.

Here is article on that race.

"Bowman fights for his political life in high-voltage New York primary"

Bowman fights for his political life in high-voltage New York primary

"Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) is fighting for political survival in the ugliest Democratic primary of the cycle, as his political future — and the party’s progressive power — hang in the balance.

The race for New York’s 16th Congressional District has pitted Bowman, a progressive, against centrist George Latimer, who has the backing of high-profile figures like Hillary Clinton, in an explosive and expensive fight that has put competing special interests, outside spending and personal attacks front and center.

Polls suggest Bowman, a member of the “squad,” is in serious danger of losing after his criticism of Israel sparked an all-in effort to remove him from Congress. Some are warning that this could be the end for the outspoken progressive lawmaker’s run in the House."

Amazing number had the exact same handwriting.

And variations of three and four part Hispanic names and Arab names in different sequences and using initial.

Not to mention people who lived at an address 20 years ago when they were still alive.

I hope Bowman wins. It will be a further stain on NYChitty and may significantly slant the Jewish vote towards DJT in November

Then again if he loses the LW could sit home in November

Can Republicans vote? Or is this a Democrat primary only?

Actually the polls show Bowman is going to get his doors blown off

Would that be dead people, illegals, or a combination thereof?

“Can Republicans vote? Or is this a Democrat primary only?”

I believe NY has closed primaries, but I’m not positive. The GOP candidate for that seat is Miriam Fisher and this is what I found, “The Republican primary election was canceled. Miriam Flisser advanced from the Republican primary for U.S. House New York District 16.”

Apparently, the media is giving her no publicity because I had to go searching for that information. There are no media news articles on Fisher. I mean nothing. Nothing along the lines of “the winner of the race will face GOP candidate Miriam Fisher in November”. It’s like the GOP candidate doesn’t exist and the voters do not know they have an option other than the Dem candidate.

Maybe a New York Freeper can chime in and let me know if that info is correct.

Without looking, I am going to guess that there is relatively little to vote on tomorrow unless you are in Jammal’s district and are a democrat.

But those numbers cited above will changes as those are only that voted in person or have returned ballots. I believe NYS accepts ballots up to the end of election day.

As to cancelling primaries, that is relatively common, but they may be other races still to vote for.

Note what this means. Minnesota and Arizona both start voting in September. There are not 5 months to the election.
