...science has slowly been striking down the idea that homosexuality is unnatural by proving that it’s seen across countless species, from bonobo monkeys to black swans to fruit flies. A landmark 2019 research paper found that over 1500 species of animals exhibit homosexual behavior.
A new report published on June 20, 2024, in the journal PLOSOne shows that same-sex sexual behavior in the animal kingdom is much more prevalent than previously documented. The big reason is that researchers have been underreporting their observations.

Yep, a San Francisco publication just happened to find "scientists" who claim all animals practice perversion.
And--get this--local Miami Florida media is breathlessly reporting these results as undisputed fact.
Put aside the obvious here. Human beings should be BETTER than animals. To equivocate that animals are randomly homosexual is like saying to your mom, “but the cool kids are doing it!”

Humans are often not as good as other species. I don’t see squirrels out on weekends killing each other.
Bias makes the scientific method impossible. The truth is hard enough to find without preconceived notions and preferences about what you want to discover.
Are we looking to animal behavior now as a model for human behavior? Wouldn’t be the first time a feminist has referenced the Black Widow spider or Praying Mantis as examples for mating rituals I bet. Another case in point for the decline-in-morals argument about human behavior.

PLOSOne is an open access, online publication site. It apparently has some credible articles and also some non-credible articles. This article is non-credible. Animals don’t have same sex relationships as humans do. It’s actually unnatural for animals to not follow their reproductive instincts.
So thousands of scientists were under-reporting...and they know that how??

So human beings should imitate animals? This is a new one on me. I can remember when acting like an animal was a negative.
The parallels could involve the hunt and violent death of prey, but what the heck, let’s just keep it delusionally gay.

I’ve worked with animals all my life (both zoological parks and farms), and hold several degrees in animal biology.
Articles like this one just make me roll my eyes because in the end, it’s anthropomorphising (i.e. putting human characteristics and/or justifications onto animal behaviour). Yes, plenty of animal species DO engage in sexual behaviour that humans consider abnormal and/or “deviant” from time to time.
There are many possible reasons for this. However, to continue to write and publish articles making the suggestion that this is somehow reflective of an “orientation” or a “preference” is speculation, at best. At worst, all it does is reveal the the writer’s own agenda.
It’s called “pseudo-science” for a reason, after all...
